Dr. Stanley H. Feil, MD

Maybe the front office staff has changed since these other awful reviews because my appt was 2/2/26 and everyone was amazing! I did the advance check-in paperwork which was super easy. Uploaded all my insurance cards and ID. By the time I got to the office, it was easy breezy and the front desk staff was super nice. Burgandy did the advance tests and was also super nice! Dr. Feil did some more tests and explained what was happening in my eyes in simple, easy to understand terms. He is very thorough! Since I'm a Medicare insurance agent, I have spoken to hundreds of clients over the years about cataract surgery and how they felt pressured to pay extra for laser and upgraded lens. We had nice convo about cataract surgery where he freely shared his thoughts about the different options. Everyone made me feel very welcomed! I felt like I had been going there for years. Was there waiting time, in between tests? Yes. But nothing out of the ordinary. I don't mind at all and even relish the quiet moments. Overall, I woud totally recommend Dr. Feil!

I enjoy being treated by the Dr Feil. I've had both cataract's done and I'm very pleased by the outcome on both visits. I've read some of the others telling of long wait times. This is expected. Some patients need more time to get the help they need, Questions answered, etc. Staff is always helpful with any questions I have with billing, and is always ready to help. I had questions about the procedure and after care, all which take sometimes a little more time then someone that is just getting a eye exam. I've never been rushed in asking for a explanation.

Took my elderly mother to her annual exam. They told us to be there 15 minutes early . When we get there, they hand us a tablet with 1000 questions that must be filled out correctly and completely to check us in. Doesn't reception get paid to check people in? Some questions on this tablet were confusing for me, I'm not sure how an elderly person gets through the process on their own. I guess reception figured since I had at least 1 hour wait, that I had plenty of time and patience to figure it out. The staff and Dr were friendly and helpful, when they were around. After 1 hour waiting in the lobby, we get called back, spent 10 minutes with triage nurse assistant asking questions,,etc.. then she left and said Dr would be in in 15 minutes. 40 minutes later at 5pm Dr finally comes in to spend another 10 minutes. Then we were finally finished. All told, 2 hours 5 minutes! Completely unacceptable. I'm tempted to send a bill to this office for my time! Seems like there are alot of patients complaining about the same issue on this review board. Maybe it's not the patients.

The doctors here are outstanding my father see's doctor Feil & other doctors there. They all give outstanding service. Yes, the wait can be long at times. I only gave 2 stars even though the doctors deserve 5 stars. But, I do have to say the front desk girls are unprofessional, they are rude and unfriendly. They will not acknowledge you. That's my reason for the low stars. Doctor Feil has been my fathers doctor for more then a decade, in fact he used to see doctor Feil's father before he retired. So pretty long time. That's the only reason why we put up with the long wait & bad staff.

Always Professional, reasonable wait Time. My family has been Patients of Dr Feil and Dr Oblad for many Years. I trust them completely.

We've been waiting for an hour, now. Will we be seen today?
