The office staff is knowledgeable, friendly and kind in person and on the phone. My appointment was on time, Dr. Cantrell and his staff were professional and caring in their procedures, explanations & provided time for questions.

Great doctor but scheduling and wait times are excessive. I had an 8:45am appt so I could get back to work quickly and thought they would be on time in the morning. I wasn't called in until 9:20. How can you be that far behind already 1st thing in the morning unless you are double booking people. Dr. Cantrell is great though and worth the wait, just wish they were a bit more efficient and on time.

I was there before 8 am and sat in the waiting room. A assistant came out and told me my that the one who scheduled me for my visit with Dr Kirkman accidentally made my appointment for Dr Cantrell and my appointment would have to be rescheduled. I drove from Porterville and was unable to see anyone. Now I have to wait until 17th of March.

Appreciated Dr. Cantrell's professionalism & taking the time to answer all my questions. Providing a clear understanding of my current status. Along with a game plan to monitor my condition with a follow up in 6-months. Which will provide a better assessment of follow up plans, necessary treatment as needed. I walked away from my exam with Dr. Cantrell, with confidence that I'm in good capable hands to address my current eyesight! Also appreciated the confidence & knowledge the entire Staff provided.

Outstanding ophthalmologist. Straight forward but sensitive, forthcoming but understandable, confident but not arrogant. Obviously a very competent and skilled physician.

Friendly efficient nurses. Staff and Dr. straight forward information, which made it easy to make decisions for best outcome w ith ease. I am confident of my upcoming surgery for the recovery of my vision . All in God's hands.

Courteous staff and assistants. Dr Cantrell is very professional and open to any questions that you have.

I have seen Dr Cantrell twice for a vitreous detachment and follow up on my retina. His medical assistant was very efficient, his front desk were very respectful and easy to work with. He was thorough but to the point and reassuring appropriately. And I recommend him highly as well as Michelle Cantrell who is the optometrist in the group. Also it's rare that physicians have an answering service for emergencies. The physician that answered my call was also very thorough and relayed the information two dt Cantrell.The next day I received a call for an appointment for the next day.
