My wife and I had a great visit, so I 'm not sure if they've changed staff in the past 6 months. It's always hard to tell how legitimate some reviews are since you're only getting one side of the story. I thought the entire staff was very friendly, and while there was a slightly casual mood, I found it relaxing and welcoming. They were professional and the doctor was awesome! 10/10 would recommend.

My first appointment today was good. The office was clean and the staff was super friendly. I respect any Doctor and/or facility that accepts medi-cal, I hope patients that come here and receive state funded health insurance like myself realize that these doctors are a blessing to us and we should all treat each other with respect and dignity. This facility that is under new ownership I might add, should be your first choice if you are in the area and in the market for new spectacles

I've been a loyal customer for 10 years, unfortunately the receptionist is the reason I'll no longer be returning. She is absolutely RUDE... This annual appointment (2021) they have "a new office crew"; the receptionist needs to work on "customer service" and improve her communication skills and tact. It's unfortunate because this doctors office used to be great, now I would highly recommend you GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The receptionist at this eye doctor is extremely rude. We will not be going back. Yesterday I took my daughters into their eye appointments. When I showed up the receptionist rudely informed me that I was late for one of the kids'' appointments by 30 minutes and so she told me they could only see one of my daughters and I would have to reschedule in November for the other daughter. Since there were no other customers in the lobby, I asked her if she could try to just try to just squeeze in both kids, since it was so hard getting them there. She said she couldn't do that based on their policy. Even though their inflexibility annoyed me, I was still ok with the situation because, I'm a logical person and it was, after all all, my fault for not showing up on time. The real rudeness started after that when my 13-year old daughter, who had an appointment that day, came to the door to come in. She had been out in the car on a zoom call with her teacher and was finished. The receptionist opened the door and rudely asked my daughter who she was. I explained she was with me. The receptionist told me she could not come in the building. I reminded her that my daughter was a minor and I wasn't just going to let her wander around on the sidewalk. The receptionist said she could not come in because of Covid rules. I told the receptionist that the sign on her door said only four people were allowed in the lobby at one time, and I explained that there were only three of us so that didn't seem to go against the Covid rules. Even though this was our appointment and my daughter was a patient, the receptionist continued to argue and denied my daughter entry. I told the receptionist I was going to leave, but first I wanted to tell the doctor that he was losing patients because of his rude secretary. I started walking down the hall to talk to the doctor. The receptionist proceeded to chase me down the hall, put her hands on me and grab me on the shoulders to stop me. I told her not to put her hands on me and then she literally blocked the door opening in front of me and told me I couldn't talk to the doctor. I reiterated to the doctor that he was losing his 10 year plus customer and 2 other customers because of her rudeness, but he didn't seem to care. Needless to say, I will not be going back. The receptionist is always rude and I have let it go in the past, but decided yesterday that I should go somewhere where they actually care about patients.

If I could give it less I WOULD!!! A major piece of my son's Nike glasses broke. Took them in for warranty..mind you they are less than 2 1/2 months old. They told me they would not be under warranty and "fabricated" a piece which did NOT match the other side WITHOUT my approval. Tried to tell me the whole frame has to be in good shape for a warranty. Well they wouldn't be there if they were in great shape. Office staff one hid while I was there leaving the UH HUH girl I had to deal with. Left the glasses and let them know the office manager, which is only there every other Friday..to call me asap!!! UNSATISFIED to say the least and last year was a disaster. They ordered glasses I didn't order..pain to have the insurance reverse...DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEY DID NOT OFFER TO SWITCH THE LENSES OUT FOR MY SON LEAVING HIM SIGHT LESS FOR THE AFTERNOON...ANGRY MOM!!!

I've been here before and it was great but just today made me not like it at all. I was calling to make an appointment and I had questions for the lady which is super rude. First of all she put me on hold without telling me I'm going to be on hold and I'm thinking she hung up. Secondly she just hung up on me instead of answering my questions. I made the Appointment and then I told her wait o have one more question and then she says very quickly thnk you bye bye and hangs up. I couldn't believe she did that. She needs to be removed, because obviously she does not know about customer service.

Lovely ladies and excellent Dr. I've been going here since I was a child and I've never left the office short of satisfaction. From making the appointment, to the actual exam (which Dr. is very thorough), to the frame selection and adjustments, it's great place for any of your optometric needs.

My kids and I are big fans. We have been coming here for years... we do miss the previous receptionist Alex, but the new one is very friendly & helpful, & our doctor is awesome.
