David Gilbert, MD

My long time eye doctor in Pinole who was excellent, retired so I needed to find another doctor. Ophthalmologist Dr. Gilbert was recommended, though I can't remember by who. I have seen him twice since my former doctor retired and he reminds me a great deal of my former doctor. I guess I have been lucky to find another excellent doctor.

Dr Gilbert did an amazing job removing cataracts from both my eyes, and post surgery eyesight continues to have 2020 correctable vision in both eyes well over a year later. One of my cataracts was situated on top of a shingle scab on my cornea. I had that eye operated on first. I was so pleased with the result, agreeing to have the 2nd cataract removed was quite easy for me. Recovery has been complication free for both. I am very grateful for the quality of exam support provided by their ophthalmologists and assistants and the smooth appointment scheduling assistance by supportive office staff as well.

Dr. Gilbert, has been caring for our family and keeping our eyes healthy for many years. We wouldn't go anywhere else or trust anyone else. I recently had an eye emergency and they fit me in to their already busy schedule. We appreciate the care, compassion and service that we get from Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Lomolino and the entire office staff.
