Distinctive Eyes Optometry

recently had my first visit ever to an eye doctor, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the front desk throughout the entire process, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, making me feel completely at ease right away. The doctor was truly fantastic--so sweet and thorough with the examination. They took the time to explain every step and answered all my questions patiently. It's clear they prioritize their patients' comfort and understanding. I highly recommend this office.

This was the best eye appointment I've ever had! Dr. Ngo was so thorough with her exam and I loved how she explained everything to me. Her staff is very welcoming and friendly. They make you feel comfortable and are extremely helpful. I finally found a great place for my eye health.

This is the only place I've ever gone to. Started going I think around 12 years old. Still going as an adult because every optometrist that's come and gone has been amazing. We now see Dr. Ngo and she's wonderful! They have a large variety of glasses and sunglasses too!

Everyone in the office were so pleasant to work with! The office is super clean. Open windows so you can see how the frames would fit you in normal lighting.

Personnel were professional and the Dr herself was very friendly and personable...I keep choosing this place because they are good, professional, reliable, and very friendly... you will feel comfortable entering this place and I highly recommend! Thank you for taking care of me..... and to add.... they have top end glasses and low end glasses, so if your insurance covers it, come here!!!! You won't regret it

I find the policy they have with putting patients who have Medi-Cal insurance as their lowest priority wrong and also, the back and forth of "we are temporarily not scheduling for Medi-Cal patients, even existing, try back later," ridiculous. I have gone here for many years before they started this and I have decided to switch providers. I received a few emails reminding me to schedule my yearly exam, for me to try to do so and be told I couldn't, but would be put on a waitlist due to my insurance. Why even send the email if that is the case? I had also fully set up and scheduled an apt. for my son that was booked, to be called later-first to have it rescheduled and then be told he couldn't be seen at all actually due to the office's Medi-Cal policies. The front office needs to get it together. Too many changes, confusion and miscommunications. Waiting thinking my son had an apt. for them to cancel it, when he urgently needed glasses before school started and I could have already had him seen and them prescribed in the mean time some place else if I knew they would do that. Dr. Ngo is very nice and knowledgeable and that is why I wanted to take my son there, as well. Very disappointing.

This is one of the nicest optometry offices around! The equipment and facilities are all so shiny and new! It's just a really pleasant place to be. I look forward to walking in the door each time. Everyone treated me with total professionalism. I was able to learn new things about my vision as well including seeing the interior of my eyeball, which was a totally new experience. Pretty cool. Great people and a lovely office.

I called yesterday 4/26 and was able to be seen the next day! The whole experience was wonderful and the staff waa very pleasant. The layout was spacious and private. The decor was very relaxing and beautiful. The Dr was very sweet! The only thing that could be a negative (and it would be pushing it) was the frame selections. They have great name brands for cheap in a range of colors and with the newest designs but I happen to be stuck in my rut of the same shape and color! If you are looking for a new optometrist, I highly recommend coming here!
