Brooks Family Eye Care

Just had the best eye exams I've ever had. Dr. Priscilla Brooks was patient and informative. I have never had such a thorough eye exam and contact fitting. She answered all my questions and didn't make me feel like a bother at all. She didn't push unnecessary testing. Definitely will go back if I ever need anything eye related!

Dr. Brooks is fantastic. She is professional, attentive and very caring. We move around a lot and I was a new patient here. She took care to listen to my history throughout my responses and provided helpful recommendations. She was also very patient with my questions. I originally hadn't wanted to switch contacts but upon learning that the brand no longer provided a rebate, I called Dr. Brooks and she was quick to help. I'll be able to trial a couple new companies now to see what my next fit will be. What's even better is that one of the contacts that I read great things about and which I was interested in was already the one that Dr. Brooks had provided me that day. This is a small office and my appointment began promptly. If this is something you value, I would recommend this clinic! I've been to more eye doctors than I can count over the years and I am extremely happy with the care I received. I think it's really special when a doctor is able to help someone so much when meeting them for the first time. It doesn't always happen like that. I hope that I'll have an opportunity to come back in the future. :)

The husband doctor did some prescription sunglasses for me. My eyes aren't real bad but I needed them to see the golf ball better as it is hit down the fairway. I paid close to $500 for the whole ordeal. It was hard for me to tell the quality of the prescription until I got them on the course. It was a bad prescription and I could never use them. I also can't use the written prescription he gave me because it was useless. I called to see if they could reexamine me. Fair disclosure, it was the next golf season. To get an appointment was a month out even for a customer that was misprescribed. They have good ratings and obviously have a lot of customers but beware. If you have a problem, they don't care to put in some extra effort to take care their malpractice.

Absolutely fantastic. Tricare Select accepted! We chose this optometrist based on reviews and location, and we are sure glad we did. We received the best care we possibly could have. I would recommend Brooks Family Eye Care for anyone!

I love this clinic. Dr. Brooks is very professional and she takes her time with her patients. She makes sure to test your vision and getting the right prescription for your glasses. The prices are very reasonable as well.

Dr. Brooks (the mrs) was so kind and educational! She took time to find a pair of contacts that worked with me as well as a pair of glasses and gave an excellent price for them!! I love going to family practices instead of chain places, just feels more homie to me. Excellent doctors!

I have been going to Dr. Priscilla Brooks since she worked for Pearl.Vision in the Citadel. Well over 12 years. My husband sees Dr. Keith Brooks. They both are very thorough. Thier customer service is very good. They also take my VSP insurance. Thier office is small, but they have a large selection of frames. In fact they have ordered frames that were not in thier selection for me to try. You wont get this from the bigger chain stores.

My husband, son and I all had our first eye appointments recently. They are so friendly and prompt! We've never had to wait: the appointments have been so quick, too. My son was really nervous about going to the eye doctor, and they were so good with him. Rather than the usual crying after the appointment, he was telling me how much fun he had :) And we were in and out in a half and hour. I highly recommend their practice.
