Haas Vision Center

I used Dr Haas for cataract surgery. I will not use him again for the other eye. 1. On exam he said he could also do my other eye after this first surgery. My optometrist never indicated the left eye was in need of surgery. 2. After planning the first surgery, they said they would call in a prescription for the 2 drops I would need pre and post surgery, OR I could buy a combined drop, which is easier to use, from them directly there in the office. Like they don't make enough from the surgery and office visits/tests. 3. I had to wait more than an hour on the day of surgery to be taken back for the procedure. 4. I had to wait 1-1/2 hours in the office the following day for post-op exam, which took 5 minutes, maybe. I arrived 5 minutes late for my appointed time and had to wait until he had seen all the other surgery patients I think. I have no respect for doctors who think their time is more valuable than a patient's. I will seek another ophthalmologist for my future care.

Haas vision center is a well oiled office. They are so proficient and run so well. They don't miss or skip a beat! You are treated well from the moment you set foot in their business. From the front office to the technicians you are treated with respect understanding and kindness. At their surgery center they take excellent care of you as well. It is run very well also. They are kind and show great concern about how you are feeling and asking questions to assure that you have top notch care from start to the time where you leave their surgery center! Dr. Haas is so very kind and knows very well his stuff. I had cataract surgery everything went very well and I am fully recovered with no problems what so ever. You will be well taken care by the staff and the doctor. I'm so appreciative of their hard work in getting my eyes better.

Dr Haas provided good results for my eyes after cataract surgery. Here are the reasons I did not give them 5 stars; 1. The team that did the prep work for my second surgery did not seem as experienced as the team that did the prep work for my first surgery. 2. The follow up visits felt rushed and the office staff was obviously annoyed when I asked questions. 3. The eye medicine says to discard 28 days after opening but the office told me to use it for 42 days and said I didn't need more.

I went to the office they said they take My insurance and make an appointment Then call me and tell me they don't except any of My insurance.Before you make an appointment make sure you have the insurance or money.She said I would have to pay cash.I canceled.

Really impressed with Haas. I had shingles around my eye, which I read was super dangerous, I wasn't a patient and they got me in same day, put my mind at ease and eye started recovering the next day with prescription. Super happy, thank you!

Went in yesterday for a tramatic eye injury on a referral from my optometrist who examined and helped me greatly earlier that day. I was handed a clipboard of 10 pages worth of "not our fault" signatures, one of which states that I understand dilalation can cause reverse glacoma... the tech Deana takes me back and without even looking at my injury or the notes sent from the optometrist wants to dialate me mind you I was in severe pain and diress at the time, and these folks had the bedside manner of Jeoffery... turns out Dr Haas agreed it was unnecessary however he also failed to even look at the referral notes that could have explained everything. The only reason this is 3 stars is because they did make an opening for me to be seen in an emergency. Ultimately having additional letters after your name does not equal superior care.

Came in to get eyes dialated and they were not friendly. The secretary was not friendly and would not help me with the bathroom door code; shrugged her shoulders . Not helpful for an senior citizen

I made an appointment in December to have an examination of my eyes following what I deemed a less than satisfactory cataract operation with another surgeon. The office scheduled me for later in the month despite the converging holidays and my being a new patient. The front desk and assistants treated me as if I had been with Dr. Haas for years and the warm welcome was appreciated. During and after the exam, Dr. Haas took great care in detailing what he observed and explaining my options. With hindsight, I wish I would have consulted with him prior to the operation done elsewhere. I highly recommend Dr. Haas and his staff.
