Our Friend had an eye surgery and had to be there at 7:15 am. We meet them there, the Facility was very well maintained, the Front Desk Check in personel was very professional and efficient. Overall the surgery went well. Kudos to your staff and management. The staff makes you feel important and not just another number for statistics. Taking Care of Business one patient at a time. Keep up the outstanding work.
This is the most dysfunctional office I have ever encountered. Overfull waiting room with consistent wait times 2-3 hours past the appointment time. Not enough doctors with management that obviously don't care about the time and wellbeing of largely senior and elderly patients. Passing out snacks does not constitute poor management and consistent lack of staffing. Even one of the nurses noted how they hate this location.
RANT: So there was an appointment set for 3:30pm for an afternoon. My client was brought back for an initial sizing of the eye pre appointment and we went back to sit in the waiting area. After which we waited as another 4 people were called and sat back for a room to wait and open up with a doctor. We sat in a dark room in the back of their office for one hour and twenty seven minutes. When the doctor came in we stated that we were the last people on his list to be seen. I find that hard to believe that you have 2 hours of patience ahead then why have people sitting for so long after the appointment time. 15- 20 minutes after the drops turned into 1 1/2 wait time. This is extremely unacceptable to the care and time of people. To then also be rushed when the patient does not agree with what is told is beyond rude. I won't name names but treatment and care should be the same for all patients. JUST DO BETTER. YOU DRS WILL BE OLD ONE DAY AND WANT TO BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT.
Pinnacle Optical Shop, September 2025 Great staff, great new lenses for my bifocals, and affordable as always.
Absolutely the best care and surgery for both of my eyes which needed Cataract removal and new lens implants. I cannot praise and thank my staff enough for their courtesy, caring attitude, and making my eyesight new again. Technicolor and the Twilight Zone and miraculous results. I am especially in gratitude to my surgeon Dr. Barad, my Surgery Coordinator Diana Garcia, and of course the guy who supplies the surgical magic, my anesthesiologist Dr. Haterius. I then used Pinnacle Optical to obtain my new sunglasses and reading glasses, exceptional customer service from both Aliyah Thomas and Ann Watt. 5 thumbs up for both of them!
DANGER! DANGER! DANGER!
For the 2nd year in a row, my appointment was delayed, and delayed, and delayed: ALL WITHOUT ANY HELP. I arrived 15 minutes early, only to be non-greeted with all 3 women behind the counter. After checking in, I waited, and waited, and waited. I made a joke to my friend: "last year I waited one hour!"
After 30 minutes past the appointment desk. They were disinterested, and I asked for the Offive Manager. Someone else came and too ou to a back toom to inform us the doctor was busy, "and you will be glad because he always spends time with his patients " I asked why no one told us the doctor was busy? The response : "I can't check on every team here, and I will speak with them." We asked how much longer could we wait? The response, " the doctor is very busy, and I cannot ask how much longer."
We waited in the lobby another 30 minutes: no one came to talk with me. I had wasted 75 minutes for my appointment which was made one year ago.
There are many words to describe my experience:
Unprofessional, callous, rude, waste of time, what kind of people work there? and who would ever subject a patient to this same experience?
I may be patient once, or twice, but I am not stupid.
Find another eye care: you will be well-served.
Everyone is really nice. Surgery on the other hand is akin to a delayed execution. They quickly get you in and ready, then roll you into solitary confinement for an indefinite time. You know it's coming, you just don't know when. When they call and do a follow up call, they are basically checking to see if you are alive; they aren't interested in your opinions. And when it's over, they will be please to send you up charges for janitorial and landscaping costs.
I've never had to have surgery in my life until a growth near my eye needed to be removed. I'm so thankful my first experience with surgery was at Pinnacle Eye Center. From the scheduling, to the billing, to the reminder phone calls, and all the way to everything on the day of surgery I couldn't be happier. My check in time was at noon and I was taken back promptly. The nurses, MAs, anesthesiologists, and everyone in between were helpful and kind. Dr. Pelton is top notch and explained everything he was going to be doing for the surgery and made me feel at ease. His surgery nurse was incredibly sweet and comforting. The surgery went more smoothly than I could have ever imagined, and a confidence has been restored in me. Thank you to everyone who made my experience so wonderful. I wish I remembered everyone's names, but please just know each of you is appreciated beyond words. THANK YOU!
My son has had two surgeries at the center. The team was amazing! Our scheduling and processing was smooth, we had all information needed in advance and knew what to expect before we arrived. Dr. Pelton put my son at ease, results were wonderful!
