RidgeView Optometry

This is my 2nd year (and my family's 3rd or 4th!) with RidgeView, and honestly, the staff and customer service are just top-tier. The vibe is super relaxed and welcoming. Dr. Buchanan is always so nice and easy to talk to whenever I have questions or concerns about our eye health. 10/10 we highly recommend.

Super welcoming, great atmosphere. Dr. Buchanan and his staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Our family has been supported here for many years, trusting their team with varied needs in glasses, contacts and post-surgery care. Scheduling online is easy & they try to make the contact lens rebate process streamlined. Highly recommended!

The front desk, technician and Dr Buchanan were all lovely. The technician was very friendly and spoke clearly with instructions. The doctor was a little on the "quiet" side but very thorough and kind. He answered every single one of my questions and helped me make an important decision.

Very friendly and professional. I had no idea what to expect since I've never really had an eye exam that I NEEDED before. My only experience was covering an eye and reading letters. NOOOOOOOW I'm looking at frames and talking about lenses. Worst part is that "I never saw it coming"! You can fix my vision but not my bad humor... Awesome instructions start to finish. I had multiple exams performed by multiple machines that I had never seen before. Talked through what each one was for, what they did, what they were doing AS THEY WERE DOING IT aaaaaand had all my questions answered. I was comfortable and confident that every measuring tool available was being used to correct my eyesight. Doc saw me afterwards and fine tuned the specifications to my spectacular spectacles and answered my simple questions before sending me back out with my eye corrections. Without missing a beat, I was immediately ambushed by the final part of the process which was for me to pick out my frames and measure my face for the bifocal placement thingie. I don't know but the glasses were SUUUPER cool. Anyway, she helped me pick out frames, lense specs and explained the process of oredering, receiving and correcting if needed (but not expected)

My experience was very good. The staff was very professional from the time I walked in. They were very courteous. They were very helpful helping me pick up a pair of glasses a pair of frames. I was very pleased with experience.Thank You.

What a great experience! This was my first visit after wanting a change from my previous large generic eye doctor. There was no tech when I was seen so Dr. Buchanan brought me back himself promptly upon check in. Several eye tests were performed, which I had never experienced before, and he explained the significance of them which I appreciated. He set me up with a new type of contact lens and explained how this could be better for me. I've never been in and out of an appointment that quick and thoroughly before. Highly recommend!

Been coming to this office for almost 20 years now. Dr Buchanan is WONDERFUL and the staff is AMAZING! Never long wait times and everyone is professional and kind. Great selection of glasses, too!
