Skyline LASIK

Everyone at Skyline was incredible. My sister in law got an ICL surgery with Dr. Chang a few years back and she said to not go anywhere else! He performed my ICL surgery and I couldn't be happier, from the initial consultation with Dirk, scheduling, all of the pre and post op information, they were there for me the ENTIRE way. I LOVE my new fancy eyeballs, and I am so grateful for the level of care and compassion everyone showed me the whole way.

I am less than 24 hours post procedure and I'm surprised by how smooth the recovery is going and how clear my vision is already! The day of the procedure went well. They gave me some Valium-ish medication to keep me relaxed and as many numbing drops as I wanted. I did move a little too much during the cutting of the "flap" which caused some vapor or air to get trapped but I just had to wait for them to dissolve or go away and they kept checking on me and gave me plenty of numbing drops. They also educated me that this isn't going to alter or disrupt the outcomes, just a random side effect that happened to me. Outside of the waiting for the air to dissipate, everything thing else went very smooth. The Doc and his assistant made me very comfortable, gave direct instructions, and were overall quick with the procedure. Once it was done I was right out the door with my "Matrix" shades, goodie bag, and my driver. Kept my eyes closed for the ride home. Took the extra Valium they gave me, my drops, put on my sleeping goggles, and took a 5 hour nap. I have been very consistent with my drops. They help with dry eye but I also get a mild medicinal taste in the back of my throat with the steroid drops they have me. Some light sensitivity but the shades and drops help a bit. I would recommend Skyline Lasik. I'm happy I got it done finally and felt it was affordable and quick. Follow their instructions for pre-op and post-op then you'll be fine. All of the staff were wonderful, explained everything thoroughly, and were very attentive! Between me getting the initial consultation and my surgery, they had upgraded their equipment so the cost of using the new equipment was going to be higher than quoted originally. They were very transparent about the pros and cons and explained my choices. I am over a month out with around 20/15, 20/20 vision and very happy. Thanks!
