SoCo Eye Specialists -Dr Edward Stevenson

My visit with Dr. Stevenson and his staff was The best eyes check i had my entire life. Very professional, caring and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend his services.

We had such a great experience today! The doctor was incredibly kind and welcoming. He took his time with my daughter, explained everything clearly, and made her feel comfortable throughout the visit. You can really tell he cares about his patients. Everyone in the office was warm and friendly, especially kailene she was very sweet and kind. Definitely recommend them!

Had an excellent time with Dr Stevenson for cataract surgery in my lefyueyr. The surgical center we were at was amazing and I can already see better in that eye. He has followed me for 3/4 months before and saw that the surgery was very imminent and needed to be done. I am grateful for going to him and this recent surgery (today).

Dr. S was on time for the appointment. The care plan was clear. He is keeping a close watch on my condition and listening to my input. The staff is professional and friendly. The communication between us and the pharmacy is very quick and efficient. I am very pleased with the whole experience.

I had an acute issue and was able to get a same day appointment. Dr Stevenson was thorough and addressed all of my questions and concerns and started me on a treatment plan

Dr. Stevenson for the most part has been a pretty good doctor or eye specialist in uveitis. Which is my main diagnosis. You can mostly get an adequate appointment date and time if you need to reschedule. His staff is very nice and polite. As before his Assistant that would work with him with patients in the room. Was very rude and professional and just felt there was no rapport with the patient. Seems like he replaced her or maybe she is not there when I am. However, I know there was other patients that had talked about her Attitude as well. When dealing with her. But now he has a new lady who is very awesome, courteous and very understanding. Sometimes with Dr. Stevenson it's hard to ask questions. His vibe is everywhere. You can get them on a good day. You can get him on a Day where he comes off kind of rude. And sometimes you can get him on a quiet day where he doesn't say too much. When I ask questions at times I feel he hears me, but he does not understand because he doesn't go through what I go through. He is a doctor so he can understand. Let me re-correct that but he cannot relate. And does not know the pain or what we may have encountered with a change or something that has gone on during the time, not seeing him until the next appointment date. And a lot can happen, and I just feel sometimes some of the things I tell him that I have encountered with my diagnosis. He seems to not take me seriously. And I feel at times I'm a guinea pig. But I believe he thinks he has done everything possible and so it's just regular treatment. Nothing new nothing he wants to try nothing he would like to I guess experience based on other patients Input when they encountered with maybe other treatments. I just feel there is possibly something else that can be done, but I feel sometimes with the insurance I have and the poverty income that I have. I don't get offered treatments that he believes that I cannot afford. So I believe I am not a candidate based on that at times. I could be wrong. I have suggested other things. And at times I just feel he never really takes it seriously everything is a no go not good for me. Is not gonna work can't do can't be. And I believe a change for the better can happen my eye my only eye I have can have a possibility of gaining some type of vision. As I see light here and there and when I told him he told me it was my mind playing tricks. But this light I see comes at all times. And I know I can see a light. He knows that it's on my chart however sometimes it goes and comes. So I just would like for him to take me seriously and give me hope I know he can't give me hope if he feels there is not but at least try things so we could cross them out and you never know what may happen. A miracle could!

I've been seeing Dr. Stevenson for over 3 years now and I am very pleased with the results of the eye injections he does and how he looks after my eyes to keep them healthy.

I've been seeing Dr. Stevenson every few months for about two years, and he is absolutely wonderful. He truly does care about his patients, and will do everything in his power to take care of them. One of the best doctors I've had by far. He takes the time to explain things and answer any questions you have. He also goes above and beyond. I highly recommend!
