Colorado Eye Gallery, now part of MyEyeDr.

We obtained new insurance and wanted to try a new eye doctor to get an eye exam for my daughter's first pair of contacts. Our current eye Dr didn't accept the new insurance. She was very excited about the new contacts for her birthday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we won't be returning due to Dr. Philip Wren. His approach is very aggressive. I appreciate direct but he is not very personable. My daughter struggled with the contacts. He was not helpful. He made it worse every time he sat down to try with her. He tried to pry her open with asking to help or touch. He was forceful and physically hurt her. She rightful got upset from the pain and started crying. She no longer wants contacts due to this interaction. That is not the experience I wanted her to have. I asked for some trainer contacts to try at home and he refused stating that's not how this works. I have had plenty of other eye Dr 's offer that option to practice at home. I asked for the contact prescription and he again refused stating he would not give it to me until he felt she was ready. I have never heard of a doctor refusing to give you your legal documents/patient file when requested. I am very disappointed with the outcome and my daughter is traumatized from the whole experience. I really hope he didn't ruin her want to try again.

Got my glasses back a few months back. Bri was so sweet and patient with me. She spent so much time applying my insurance, and a sale going on at the time, to various glasses and helped me find the cheapest price for two pairs that I really liked.

The staff here is kind and attentive. Dr. Wren knows his stuff and helped me understand everything about my eye issues and my prescription. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family!

Jaime is absolutely wonderful from the moment you step in! Dr wren is quite professional with a great sense of humor.

I was having a sudden eye issue and they were able to squeeze me in and address it. I appreciate Dr. Wrenn communicating clearly with me about what was going on with my eye and assuring me things were all good.
