My son has been a patient of Dr. Houston's for several years now. Dr. Houston and her staff are great! Exams are thorough and she takes the time to explain the course of treatment/diagnosis for his eye health. Highly recommend!

I've been to see Dr. Houston for about 3 years. She is awesome and very friendly and knowledgeable. However, trying to call the front desk is impossible. No one ever answers the phone. The employees at the front desk are also not very helpful. I bought new glasses there that have a flaw in them, getting in contact to discuss this has been ridiculously difficult.

We've had a really good experience with the doctors there but trying to get in touch with anyone is absolutely ridiculous. I have been calling leaving messages sent messages through the portal sent an email and no one. No one has gotten back to me about my daughter's glasses that I paid for over a month ago.

The doctor at this location is absolutely amazing--knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly great with patients. However, the experience at the front desk is consistently disappointing. The woman who typically sits to the right at the front desk has been consistently rude during our visits. Her attitude feels rushed and unfriendly, which creates a negative first impression.
For a practice that works with families, a more welcoming and caring front desk presence would go a long way in improving the overall experience. A little kindness and patience can make a big difference, and I hope the office considers addressing this issue.

Calling our pediatrician back to see if they can send us to another provider. The front desk was incredibly unhelpful. I would suggest if you are taking new clients that they first person you speak to is helpful and can guide new families. Based on my first conversation, I am looking elsewhere.
