Denver Eye Practice & Optical

Paid $413 for my lenses. It took almost 3 weeks to receive them. When I received them I noticed that the film on the lenses for the transitions was messed up and didn't cover the entire lense. When I returned them I was told they would fix the issue and it would be "expedited" and should only take 1 week. It's been 12 days now and they haven't even received them back from the lab yet. I was offered zero compensation for this, for the money I've lost having to take time off work to resolve this. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Denver Eye Practice & Optical. So after 18 days my glasses were finally ready. I was told that they would be mailed to me so I wouldn't have to take any time off of work and lose even more money than I already have. Of course they didn't and I had to come pick them up. When I arrived I found out that they had lost my Oakley case for my glasses and tried to replace it with a cheap pocket clip case. I've been trying for over a week to contact management but they're on vacation. After talking to Crystal the office manager I was more than happy with everything. She and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and professional. Thank you.

Zero stars for the receptionist, she must not know the area very good because she gives horrible directions. She just say 1601 19th Ave. Doesn't state where the building is or that it's in Health One. This makes patients late to their appointments, I know I'm not the only who had a hard time finding the new location.

I had a bad experience here. Staff showed a lack basic professionalism, empathy and character. The optometrist, Chet, can't be bothered to have a simple conversation outside of a paid appointment. I was given false information about a follow up I requested over the phone. I was told that I could come in for a quick follow up less than 24 hours after an appointment (without having to pay for a separate exam) because I wanted to request a change / have a conversation with Chet. When I showed up I was told that I was given the wrong information over the phone, they would need to bill insurance, Chet is unavailable for a phone call or to talk for 2 seconds and that "it wasn't me you talked to" when I told them that I confirmed this over the phone. So, my time was wasted, everyone had a bad experience (except Chet, I guess) and all that's left is this lousy review. Go somewhere else.

Super kind and friendly staff! Very communicative, got plenty of reminders for my appt and was able to reschedule easily. I received a thorough examination with the ophthalmologist who explained everything in detail to me. They have a nice selection of glasses and nicely priced packages for lenses + frames. Love it here!

Terrible service. I called to request information, they took my details, I sent an email, and they even asked me to send a message, and even after 3 days they still haven't replied. They are unfriendly on the phone and unhelpful from the moment you let them know you have eye insurance,
