Dr. Raul Alderete, Optometrist

I didn't know I could love an optometrist! Dr. Alderete is the most knowledgeable doctor, and he truly gets to know you and makes you feel like you are his only patient. He also made things so simple to understand and I felt included in my plan of care. Great facility, even greater doctor. 10/10.

I was traveling to Denver and needed glasses asap. Dr. Alderete was able to get me scheduled. He is very knowledgeable and took great care in educating me about my specific vision needs! Best optometrist I've ever seen!

Dr. Alderete is the Barry Bonds of optometry (well, without the steroids scandal of course). I've been wearing contacts for over two decades and he taught me things I didn't know and had never heard from any other optometrist about how to make sure I'm taking care of my eye health longevity. I was having an odd vision problem that other doctors couldn't figure out and he took the time to get into my background and details and eventually figured it out! He even took time to figure out why I was having certain issues on the tennis court and gave me a specialized solution because he realized how important it was to me. Can't recommend him enough!!!

Dr. Alderete is by far the best Optometrist I've ever encountered! You can tell he has a deep passion for what he does. He is kind, patient, friendly, professional and truly a master of his craft. He provides honest and clear insights while explaining the reasoning behind his recommendations. His staff has also always been excellent to work with. The office is clean and well maintained. Truly exceptional!

The most personable, professional, and caring doctor I've had in ages, let alone an optometrist. I was absolutely taken aback by how warm and disarming he is. His support staff is absolutely fantastic as well. They guide you through the whole experience, describing all the procedures and what to expect. I'm so used to being shuffled through either a waiting room where you feel like a sheep, or just ruthlessly cold doctors who are just trying to get their patients done. I cannot say enough good things about this guy. He figured out one of my prior prescriptions was backwards- left lens in the right one, and vice versa, from Warby Parker. He told me exactly what to say to them to get it corrected, and even though he has his own frames to choose from, he and his staff never once tried to pressure me to buy from them. I did find frames I liked and am buying from them, transitional bifocals, but he was super supportive of if I wanted to buy cheaper ones elsewhere, specifically fixed length. I had been up for 14 hours prior to my appointment, and was low key dreading it. I wish every doctor was as kind, informative, and disarming as him. As long as I'm in Denver, I will be a continual patient of his.

Dr. Raul is an excellent clinician with excellent decision making. His ability to be pragmatic while also wanting to do what is long term best for your vision separates him from other providers. Besides that he truly takes the time to make sure you understand the what and the why, as well as understand who you are. I wouldn't trust anyone else with managing my vision.

I am 40 years old and this was by far the best experience I've ever had at an eye exam. Dr. Alderete was extremely knowledgeable and great at conveying that knowledge in a helpful way. I learned a lot about my eyes - the reason for my vision issues, why previous Dr's may have done what they did and what to expect in the years to come. I only wish I had found his practice earlier in life. Highly recommend

I have been going to Dr Alderete for 6 years now. I love the personalized approach that I receive from him as well as Jennifer. They are a great team. Highly recommend.
