Front Range Family Eye Care of GVR

This is literally the kindest, most caring optometrist's office I've ever been to. I'm traveling from Miami and called them because I had forgotten my contacts. The front desk worked to find me my prescription in the EXACT brand I like to use and it was waiting for me 20 min later. I tried to pay them and they refused...I'm used to Miami doctors where they try to scam you for every penny so this was incredibly sweet. They genuinely care and you're SO lucky if you live here and get to go to them regularly. Maybe I'll just switch providers and get my yearly exam done here when I visit every year 10/10 highly recommend

This is by far the most inconsiderate and rude office I've ever had the misfortune to go to. After my appointment I called to confirm my contact lenses, and spoke with the person who handles that only for them to just leave the phone. I called back multiple times and left a message only to be entirely ignored until I came in myself. A week later when my contacts were supposed to be in, I checked for one of the girls to tell me the system was showing an order was never placed. Now, another week later I'm checking in again only to be on hold for nearly 30 minutes. In that time I was able to drive all the way there to find an empty office and my contacts sitting there for who knows how long. The girl on the phone is incredibly rude and should not have any customer facing jobs. Im told she is some sort of offsite call taker, but regardless wasted hours of my time just trying to get my contacts. I won't be back, and I recommend you go anywhere else unless you have hours to waste

When I made the appointment the lady I talked to said I could fill out the paperwork when I got there because I was having issues accessing my email. But, when I arrived the woman at the front desk was so rude. She accused me of lying about being told I could fill it out when I got there. Her exact words were, "That's your story". I walked out. There was a woman who came out as I was going down the stairs to leave, she tried to get me to go back in but there is no way I will patronize a business that has such horrible help. Then I found out my daughter went there and had the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE! They need to start paying attention to the way they allow their employees to treat patients. I'll never go back and I will discourage anyone who plans to go there. I was so disappointed as I had a retina tear last year and was finally able to get a new pair of prescription glasses. Absolutely HORRIBLE front desk help.

Very disappointed with the lack of transparency at this eye glass place. When we went in, we were given a total cost for the exam and lens replacements. We paid the amount in full. However, when we came back to have the lenses placed, we were suddenly told there was a remaining balance. This is the second time something like this has happened here. It feels misleading and unprofessional to give one total, take payment, and then all of a sudden be an additional cost. Customers deserve clear and honest pricing upfront.

Had something scratch my eye at work, and being new to the area I didnt have an optometrist close, so I called this office and they got me in immediately! I also dont have insurance and had to pay out of pocket, and it was very affordable. Highly recommend this office!!

The place is nice and clean. The doctor is nice! BUT they do not ask or warn you about the fee they charge for taking "photos" of the eyes. I was slapped with a fee of $140 for both of my children. Apparently the photos are for glaucoma, diabetes, etc. but would have been nice to have known before the appointment. I expected the co-pay, but not the unexpected fee. Felt like a scam at the end of our appointment. That was our last time there.

The worst place ever by far & looking at the reviews I should have known. Called to schedule an appointment for my daughter & when I was spelling my child's name the chick on the phone laughed and was just coughing so loud one that's disgusting and two disrespectful. I immediately just hung up because if your like this over the phone and no way in hell your any better in person.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The optometrist who examined me was very friendly and knowledgeable, showing me the images of my retinal scans and explaining what she was looking for. She dialed in on my prescription pretty quickly, which takes a bit longer for me in general due to my left cornea being scarred. After the exam, the woman who helped me with my frames gave me advice on what to pick and even found a similar pair to my initial pick that was $100 cheaper. Everyone here was extremely helpful, and I enjoyed the experience.
