Sports Optical

Having been in the shooting sports for many years I have learned the importance of good eye protection. I've had near perfect or better vision for most of my life and wanted to protect it. A year ago I found out I have an astigmatism in my dominant eye and it was confirmed by a new "blurry" red dot sight; it wasn't a manufacturer defect. After getting glasses I realized the need for prescription shooting/safety glasses. I scoured the internet and found Sports Optical. Not only did they offer the same frames I have grown accustomed to, they would even make just the lenses for my existing frames. Every time I called with questions they were able to educate me on the different finish options; colors, tints, mirror, etc. for my glasses. Since I have multiple sets of the same frame, I wanted to try the new lenses out to see how they fit in the frame and continue using the frames I'm comfortable with. I am so very happy they were able to very nearly match my previous red/pink tint lenses that I am used to shooting with. I added a mirror finish to the front and they helped add additional sun protection. Once I had my prescription information to Sports Optical they told me it would take a couple of weeks, approximately four, to get my custom lenses and tints completed, they not only came in on time, but were delivered earlier than expected. The Sports Optical team hit it out of the park and now I'm able to keep on competing in shooting matches because I can see more clearly and am well protected. Thank you Sports Optical!

By far the absolute best choices I have ever seen at any I place. Not only is there ones for safety that are phenomenal, but there is glasses for almost every style. You could possibly imagine. Even ones I would say, would be suited for cosplay. I definitely have some of my favorites picked out for future choices. You gotta go see it. The parking is great plenty of room to go through everything and they are so friendly and helpful. It's a must if you wear glasses. Pick them out here don't buy them from your optometrist small choices. I think everybody should be sent here. It's very easy to get to right off the freeway. You do not have to make a whole lot of turns. If you need tactical glasses or just every day glasses, this is your place.

This business is my favorite business in all of Colorado to shop for all things eyewear related. I first found them through word of mouth for their prescription ski goggle inserts, and they were a game changer for me. I didn't need to worry anymore about contacts drying out while skiing, or sacrificing my eyesight for a more comfortable skiing experience. They were super helpful and communicative and managed to get everything made and ordered very quickly. When I needed to get a new pair of glasses later on, I came back and worked extensively with James. We managed to find a pair of glasses that fit my face well and ordered them since they were out of stock. They came quickly and we adjusted them when I got them so they fit perfectly. Since then, I have had a few issues with the frames and James and his colleagues have been more than helpful to me whenever I stop in or give them a call, leaving me feeling satisfied and happy with anything and everything I need. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could, and I highly recommend Sports Optical to anyone who is looking for their next pair of glasses, or optical needs. The level of service that I have received is something that is hard to come by in many businesses now, and I will be continuing my business with them for the foreseeable future.

I ordered a perscription Oaxley Radar EV path sunglasses with different prescriptions in each eye. The cutout solution from Oakley direct looks horrible and the lenses pop out. The technology Sports Optical uses is great. It looks perfect and has great clarity. I live in New York and shipped my frame to them after speaking on the phone. Super easy.

The folks at Sports Optical were super responsive to email and phone calls. I found it easy to work with them even though I live an hour away from their office. The results were great and I was very pleased with the glasses.

Great staff and great glasses. I got the Mt Falcon frames and prescription lenses with XtrActive transition. Lightweight and comfortable with lots of peripheral vision. They get pretty dark even on cloudy days, but that probably means I'm getting the UV protection I need. Highly recommended.
