I just had my second cataract surgery by Dr. Ronald Wise MD. The doctor is so wonderful: He let me know what to expect, explained the procedure and was so nice and caring through it all. I was awake through the whole thing but felt no pain at all both times. I recommend Dr. Wise to anyone with any eye or vision problem. He cares and is very proud of his achievements and he should be. There have been many articles published about his amazing work. My whole world changed when I had my eyes fixed, the world is bright and beautiful now, I had know idea how bad I was seeing before.

I got something in my eye that I couldn't get out so I called Dr Wise's office and they squeezed me in right away. The woman working the front desk was very friendly and efficient which is always nice, especially with tensions high during COVID-19 days. Dr wise found the piece of rock or whatever it was embedded in my upper eyelid and got it out with ease. He is a fantastic doctor and is very knowledgeable and helpful and I'll be going to him for any future eye-related needs!

Dr. Wise is exceptional. I came in with a stye that was seemingly infected and he really addressed the issue. Dr. Wise was patient with me, had concern for my concerns, and listened to the things I was experiencing. During my second visit, he addressed more than my eye, and I appreciate and am thankful for him and his insight. -Natalie S.

The best eye doctor / surgeon you can hope for. Dr Wise really cares for his patients (and expects you to care too [about your own health]). It was really great to get PRK done by him. For days and weeks after, he would contact me to get updates, and made sure to be available. He was thorough and careful, making sure everything was set up and figured to minimize all risk and make you as comfortable as possible. He also he ran a lot of tests, some even a few times. But it was not because he had doubts, but rather he is a perfectionist (in the best way possible) and wanted to make sure the best possible outcome would occur. Also, him having access to the latest and greatest medical-tech toys at UC health is a huge bonus.

I saw Dr Wise to start with for an emergency with my eye. He was wonderful and over the several weeks I saw him was able to fix the problem I'd had for years. He was the only one who actually address the root problem and correct it.

Love Dr Wise. Dr Wise was the only doctor who called me after hours when I thought I was experiencing a big eye issue. I am very thankful for him.

Called office, Amy answered , I explained I needed to see a DR. to be fitted for contacts...she went on to tell me that the Dr. doesn't treat patients that need contacts and she also said, 'contacts cost $150.00 and up because it's all private pay ....get this.... 'BECAUSE WE ARE A MEFICAL FACILITY'! Oh, I'm sorry, I thought that's where I usually call to see a doctor.....my mistake!

Dr. Wise is AMAZING!!!
