Dr. Eva Kim

I have been waiting my entire life for this! I had a bilateral CLE with light adjusting lenses Jan 2026. First I need to explain exactly how poor my eyesight was. I had worn glasses since age five and was literally blind! I have severe myopia and astigmatism. I wore custom made contacts with a prescription of -22 that cost $$$$!!! I found Dr Kim after visiting 6 other eye surgeons. I knew immediately she was the surgeon for me. She knew exactly what procedure I needed. She told me she could fix my eyes. I cried and she gave me a hug. She is everything anyone would want in their eye surgeon. She is brilliant, competent, efficient, and compassionate. She seems to truly love what she does and really cares for her patients. I'm still in the adjustment phase with my lenses but this experience has been truly life changing. Her entire team is amazing! Dr Marten is the light adjustment specialist and he's just as amazing as Dr Kim! This process can be complicated but the team at Icon has made it simple and I felt completely at ease through everything. I truly believe this experience and outcome would not have been possible anywhere else. I am so grateful I found Dr Kim and her team at Icon.

Dr Kim was very kind and thorough during her explanation of the cataract procedure and the three options. However, this practice is very high pressure pressure sales. My next step was To see the financial person. She explained the pricing of the three Options. The Medicare option was the least expensive. The next 2 Were Way out of my price range option two would've costed me over $7000 option 3 Over $12,000. After taking a day to think about it, I realize there was no way I could afford either of the more expensive options so I was left with option one which would mean I would be wearing glasses after the procedure. A week later I was at lunch with one of my girls groups and found out that one of my friends had had her cataracts Done by Dr. Kim . She had a different experience they tailored her procedure Specifically to her eyes And both eyes only cost her $5000!

Dr Kim is fantastic. I had both eyes surgically repaired due to cataracts. I previously had LASIK 25 years prior which was done to provide monovision Dr Kim was able to again give me monovision with the cataract surgery. My dominant eye was done first and I had 20/25 vision 2 days later. The other eye was done the next day. It took slightly more time to achieve the desired results. Trees now have leaves and colors are more vibrant. Dr Kim and the staff at ICON are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely proficient. I highly recommend Dr Kim and ICON

Dr. Kim and her staff are very welcoming and make you feel at ease. They are professional and make you feel confident that the surgery you have will be successful.

My visit with Icon and Dr Kim could not have been better. From checking in until the final step of scheduling surgery every person was superb. Dr Kim is very professional, friendly and quite knowledgeable. I am looking forward to the next steps with Icon
