Thanks to the exemplary skill of surgeon Dr. Eva Kim, my vision is 20/20 without the need for corrective lenses for distance or reading. Dr. Kim has incredible surgical technique, along with the knowledge and experience to provide patients with a tailored solution to vision challenges. Dr. Kim provided me with an exceptional outcome with the multifocal lenses that were perfect for the shape of my eyes, and from day-1 I enjoyed visual acuity that glasses and contact lenses never afforded. Nearly 2 years later, when my vision lost its acuity, Dr. Kim diagnosed that scar tissue (a fairly common occurence following cataract surgery) was the culprit. A very simple in-office laser procedure painlessly restored my vision to its 20/20 acuity. Remarkably, I was able to discern the improvement while Dr. Kim completed the procedure. I have highly recommended Dr. Eva Kim to family and friends, and will continue to do so. Her warmth, precision, meticulous attention to detail, clear explanations, and professionalism are unmatched, in my opinion (and experience).

I'm reflecting on a pivotal medical decision I made approximately two years ago regarding cataract surgery. It's a memory that often weighs heavily on me, and I feel compelled to articulate the profound impact it has had. Prior to the operations, despite managing my diabetic condition with regular eye appointments, my vision was perfectly functional. I didn't require glasses and truly felt my eyesight was excellent. However, my ophthalmologist at ICON EyeCare- if appropriate, but the prompt says to elaborate and be significantly different, so maybe I can rephrase or generalize] strongly advised that immediate cataract surgery was essential. Trusting implicitly in medical expertise, I moved forward with the recommendation. I underwent the procedure for both eyes without hesitation, a decision I now deeply lament as arguably the most regrettable medical choice of my life. Far from improving my sight, the surgery has dramatically compromised my vision. Where once I saw with clarity and independence, I am now entirely dependent on corrective lenses. Even more distressing is the progressive decline I experience annually, necessitating frequent changes in my prescription. This constant deterioration is a stark contrast to my pre-surgical clarity. My personal experience compels me to share a critical piece of advice: always, always seek several independent medical opinions before consenting to any significant medical intervention, especially when your current health condition does not appear to warrant immediate drastic measures. Had I diligently pursued multiple consultations, I might have avoided this profoundly life-altering and disheartening outcome.

Fantastic experience at Icon, could not recommend more. I am so pleased with my care that I've received here. The team here is so friendly and accommodating, you can really tell how well this whole team works together, from the second you walk in and are greeted with the check-in group all the way to the surgery room. I received LASIK here with Dr. Kim and her team. The whole process has been amazing. Dr. Kim has fantastic bedside manner and is very personable. Highly recommend.

I am so happy with ICON eyecare! I had LASIK surgery one year ago with Dr. Kim which was outstanding! However, I continue my care there due to Dr. Bounkhong! She and the staff are so lovely. They all get excited and happy when you're happy! What can be better than that?! Thank you so much!

I had a first time appointment with Dr Belen to check whether I might have an issue with closed (narrow) angles. Trey did a great job with the initial work up, and Dr Belen was very gracious and patient with the exam and with all my follow up questions. The person at front desk has a great sense of humor and was very personable. Omni Eye Specialists was fantastic!

I absolutely love Omni Eye Specialists. My doctor Vandi Rimer O.D. is incredibly knowledgeable and truly professional. She has a wonderful team, and her assistant Nate is amazing--so detailed, attentive, and caring. They really look after their patients with so much dedication. If anyone is struggling with dry eye symptoms or even more serious eye concerns, I wish they could all know about this place. The care and expertise here are exceptional.
