Eye Center of Northern Co: Foster Gary MD

I recently had LASIK surgery by Dr. Foster. I could not be happier with the results and can not speak highly enough about Dr. Foster and the rest of the staff. The preliminary appointments were all very simple and everyone I dealt with treated me with courtesy and respect. The day of the procedure I was nervous but Dr. Foster and the staff in the center took care of that. They really helped me relax during the surgery and I could not believe the results. I did research a bunch of Dr.s for LASIK and am extremely happy that I chose Dr. Foster.

As a cataract surgeon with over 25 years experience, a researcher, and a former major university faculty member who taught ophthalmology , when my time came to have my own cataract surgery my wife and I drove 3 hours to Fort Collins in order to have Dr. Foster do it. I couldn't be more pleased. I got up in the middle of the night last week and for the first time since 1963, , without glasses, I could see the stars. Thank you Dr. Foster!

Sounds like a trend here, Day-before cancellation for surgery, never been able to meet Foster but went through 4 pre-op appointments, 8 weeks out of contacts, took time off work, purchased medication, and payed for the procedure already. Heard the afternoon beforehand that they are cancelling my appointment. Had to find out from the Centerra reception office who heard from Foster's reception office. No rationale provided, no call, and after the doctor had ostensibly already reviewed the scans. Told to possibly wait 8 months to "stabilize", not sure in or out of contacts, because after all that, I still haven't been able to even meet or talk to Dr. Foster. Still no guarantee there wouldn't be another last-minute cancellation. Edit: Went in to my original appointment time to catch him and was able to sneak in a meeting. While still frustrating that he gave different results from the same chart, it was helpful to actually get answers directly. He referred me to other surgeons.

I recently had LASIK surgery done by Dr. Foster. The entire experience could not have been easier. Dr. Foster and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. I know several people who have had their LASIK done by him, and all are happy. My eyesight is now better than 20/20, and it's thanks to Dr. Foster and his amazing staff! I have been seeing Doctor Foster for many years, one of the most competent MDs I have seen, and he's also very good in working with you. Recently I had cataract surgery (Dr Foster is a leading surgeon in this area, participating in medical trials with new technologies and procedures), and I spent quite a bit of time with Dr Foster discussing all of the various options and technologies (it's amazing what is happening in this area). He was extremely patient with all of my questions, and we spent time working on a solution for me that I am EXTREMELY happy with! He has an AMAZING number of exceptional articles on many areas related to eye surgeries, but what is simply astounding is he answers questions from people and it's all available for anyone to peruse/search. He really cares greatly about what he is doing, and it shows in how he helps people by answering their questions. He's top notch in my book!

While I really liked Forster and his staff, I am very cross because i see worse after surgery. I ended up getting a cornea transplant from Dr Wang in Denver, still can't pass drivers eye test

Have diabetes so need to get my eyes checked they are a very professional place all covid regs in place you get in and out
