Dr. Matthew Skrdla and his staff are very friendly, courteous, and professional. My daughters and I feel very well cared for and respected, and I am confident they have our best interests in mind. We are pleased with the service and high-quality care we receive.
Extremely professional, friendly, thorough care. From the helpful receptionist, to the kind eye tech who explained the different tests to me, to the Dr who was friendly and answered all my questions, to the gal who helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. It was my first appointment and it won't be my last!
I had such a great experience at Foothills Vision and EyeCare! From Dr. Scott to the office staff, everyone was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They worked with my budget, gave me a discount, and even added an extra warranty--something I really appreciate.
As someone who also runs a local business, it means a lot to see a company that truly cares about their customers and goes the extra mile. Highly recommend Foothills Vision and EyeCare to anyone looking for eye care in the area!
I've been seeing Dr. Skrdla for at least 4 years. Appreciate that appointments don't take a lot of time and I always get accurate results. My contact there for new frames/lenses is Kelly and I think she's great! She's helped me with sunglasses (progressives) and work glasses (reader type with prescription)... she's a great listener and very helpful. I had some issues with a recent purchase and she was just 100% supportive and kind.
horrible antiquated, outdated practice. Dr Haugen must be a real throwback to a time long ago. I went for eye exam and hurt afterwards. He held some bright light to my eyes for so long it hurt for days. I have dry eye, his solution "buy some drops" (like I haven't tried that before!) and when I mentioned I have had tear duct plugs before, he stated that wasn't necessary......then why did they give me the relief I was seeking? They do things very backward. You sit with Dr for an exam, THEN go in for the testing with all their machines, so he has none of this info before hand! Then off you go! Not a good experience, would never go back here!
Great experience! the staff and reception folks are wonderful, courteous, and everyone was on time. Dr. H was amazing. Never had such a thorough and complete examination. I am looking at cataract surgery and he was very very helpful in explaining it to me completely and clearly. I highly recommend him and this office.
I've had dozens of eye exams elsewhere, and the exam I had at Foothills is the only one that's ever caused me eye pain for several days afterward.
I'm going to guess it's because this office doesn't use up-to-date techniques, which the optometrist even kind of bragged about.
In fact, the staff there are so "slow" and out-of-date that they don't even realize that retinal photocoagulation therapy is a form of eye surgery. In modern times surgery done on retinas is always done with lasers, but I guess that Foothills is still dealing with potions and incantations.
My insurance provider knows this is surgery and says I'm covered for glasses, but Foothills refuses to call the insurance provider line to confirm this.
The office staff there is so "slow" they couldn't even keep track of my telling them about my left vs my right eye.
Great care, great service for the many years they have taken care of me. Patient, thorough and professional.
