As before I've been very satisfied s with this clinic. Informative, polite, very thorough, Rowland is very knowledgeable and helpful. The front office of the administration, so very helpful. And of course Dr Rottman as usual so great in his profession. Thanks again and if our FATHER is willing we'll see yall in a year. PS, you really need to check into the controversy of the aerial chem trails. Our air is being chemically polluted and not one governmental agency will admit to their being. The EPA doesn't return any communication. This is a huge health issue.

From the moment you walk in, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Administrative personnel are very patient, techs are caring and Dr. Rottman's is always very informative overall, staff very professional. I feel comfortable and know I'm receiving quality care. I have and will continue to recommend Rottman Eye Care. Great experience!

Everyone at Rottman Eye Care is so nice, knowledgeable, and they really care about you. Dr. Ford and her team are amazing. I feel welcome and relaxed. Any questions or concerns I have are always answered promptly. They make it nice to go to the Dr.

Would not recommend for children or anyone with VSP insurance. When making the appointment that was a referral from our pediatrician for our son I told them that we had VSP insurance. We went to the appointment, it was ok but not great definitely not child geared at all. All that was done was a basic eye exam with refraction. The Dr. saw my son for maybe 5 minutes. No prescriptions or anything further included. A month later a bill comes in the mail for $439. Long story short every time I call billing I get a voicemail. I ether got no call back or a call back days later with someone with an attitude. I asked if it was billed through our insurance and they said it was billed through our medical insurance not vision. They said to bill it through our vision insurance I would need to provide them with a member ID number. I have never had to provide a VSP member ID number to any eye doctor we have ever been to for myself and my husband so I told them I would have to figure something out. I called them back to let them know that VSP had informed me that the provider would need to get an authorization through their website using the policy holders name and birthdate. Multiple calls to billing later and they agree to try again to run it through VSP. THEN....THEN after ALL of that I get a call from billing and they tell me that none of the western slope locations accept VSP and that we will be responsible personally for the entire bill. Frustrating and disappointing. If we would have known this from the initial consultation (where we told them we had VSP) and set up of the appointment we could have avoided this entire situation by going somewhere else. Guess lesson learned and I will make sure to do more research next time, even being referred by our pediatrician.

Dr. Rottman has been taking care of my vision and eye care for years. He is definitely one of the best in his field and for sure the best in Grand Junction. On my last visit, I was so impressed that he is training who I will call interns to follow in his footsteps. It is exceptional that he is sharing his vast knowledge and really cares that people of Grand Junction will receive top notch eye care. He has a "vision" for the future! The technician was very kind, courteous, and she had a very pleasant demeanor about her. They had new equipment since the last time I visited and it was very easy to work with their new equipment. Dr. Rottman was straightforward and pleasant as always. Paul,

Called to make an appt as a new patient. The woman on the phone was extremely rude. She told me that 3 other eye doc places closed, that they were booked out to May, and said that I should call other places instead if it was urgent (which I never said it was). I explained that it wasn't urgent and also said it sounded like they were very busy. Before I could thank her for her time, she hung up on me. Seems like it might be a good place if you're already established, but they are very rude if you're trying to book as a new patient.

Dr Rottman is an experienced, excellent Physician. He explains issues completely and looks at detail. Worked me in to his packed schedule in between a busy holiday week. Greatly appreciate his time.
