Front Range Family Eye Care - Greenwood Village

I've been going to Front Range Family Eye Care for years and I've always been pleased with the prescription determined for me. Yesterday I had the best appointment because Dr Godfrey is using his knowledge, experience, ability to teach, to mentor two young people pursing their own degrees and careers as eye doctors. I know how valuable someone's mentorship is - their willingness to give their time and answer questions, clarify the topic of discussion, it can truly make the difference between someone understanding something vs continuing to struggle. I was happy to be a patient they could learn from. I left once again being a happy patient and customer of their services. I am proud to support a business that encourages and supports the future of our future eye doctors. Thank you.

I moved to the Denver metro area recently and picked Front Range as my new optician. I had an exam and all went well. My prescription changed, so I needed new glasses (I do not wear contacts). I love my frames, they aren't that old and were pretty spendy, so I decided to just get new lenses. A week or so goes by and my new lenses arrive and I go to the DTC location to have them swapped out into my existing frames. Again, all good. But about 3 minutes after I left my glasses with them, they called to say they broke them. In hindsight I guess there is a chance of the frames breaking, but never once did they say "hey, we might break these" or have me sign a waiver or anything of the sort. And when they broke them, they didn't apologize and say "lets make this right, lets work together on a solution" they just said that they can't be held responsible for my frames and I can buy another frame. I was upset, I mean I walked in with glasses I love and minutes later they were broken and they were acting very nonchalant about the whole thing. I am no optician, but it seems to me that either the person doing the work wasn't very skilled or this happens enough that they should have warned me. Anyway, I got the lenses which I already paid for and left the store. I called several hours later to discuss the matter and was told someone would call me back. They haven't. I obviously wish I hadn't left my glasses with them. I wish they had warned me they could break, and wish they would've handled things differently when they were broken; I get stuff happens but they just started into denying culpability and telling me I can spend more money in their store on new frames. I guess I am again looking for a new optician. UPDATE: I bought my glasses on November 3, 2022; 3.25 yrs ago. I have the receipt.

Dr. Godfrey and staff have created a professional caring environment that I look forward to coming to. Everyone at this optometrist office was so kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The staff made us feel comfortable right away, and the eye doctor was absolutely wonderful with my daughter. She kept telling me afterward how much she truly enjoyed her experience -- which says a lot! We're really grateful for such a positive visit and would definitely recommend this office to other families.

My appointment was handled promptly and professionally. Joe and Dr Godfry are great. They recommended ocular vitamins, which I purchased from their office. Guess what? Amazon's price is higher.

Response to the lame reply: All my calls are recorded. This is the name your staff provided. Please reach out to my attorney if you feel this is inaccurate. Based on the levels of harassing, threatening and unprofessional behavior you displayed not only with me, but with the other negative reviews on this establishment's google portal, you've violated several codes of ethics, misconduct, and HIPPA. I'd like to be clear once again, all my calls are recorded and will be utilized in court as an exhibit to prove your defamatory statements are false. Screenshots have been saved for future exhibits.

My daughter got new glasses from here and they didn't have the frames in stock. So they ordered several different pairs for her to try on, so she could pick the one best suited for her face. They were kind and thoughtful throughout the entire time we came in for each visit. My daughter absolutely loves her new glasses and we will be coming back here again.

The team at Front Range is both professional and personable. Dr Godfrey had been my eye Doctor for about 15 years and will not see another Doctor. Not only is he knowledgeable but also a very engaging person with whom you feel that you are his only patient yet he has many hundreds of patients. I would definitely recommend to others.
