I was new to Target Optical and Dr Munro because of a change in my insurance. It was recommended to me by co-workers. Dr Munro was very kind and took time to explain things to me in detail. I enjoyed meeting with her. The whole staff at the Target optical was very nice and helpful and I enjoyed the convenience of the visit.

Dr. Munro was pleasant, thorough, and actually listened to my concerns about my eyes and prescriptions. The optical staff was also very friendly, informative, and did not rush or pressure the contacts/glasses purchasing experience. I've had some not-so-great experiences at other practices in the area, but I will be returning to Target Optical.

Had a wonderful but transparent, educational appointment with Dr. Munro. She was extra thorough and explained my prognosis and ways to prevent what was happening with my eyes and how they have changed from 7 years prior. I have only seen her once before, but now we are on the same page for taking care of the health of my eyes. Highly recommend!

Usually so thorough, but my appointment yesterday felt pretty rushed. Nobody asked me about dilation or ocular imaging, she just sat me down and did the scan. Once she finished the exam the optical manager informs me its gonna be $39 for the imaging, not covered by insurance. In the past they have always asked about this before doing it, because they Know it is not always covered by insurance. It also is usually 20-25$ - that is a 56% inscrease on a machine they already own. And honestly, it is just poor care and terrible communication and pay transparency that nobody even asked me about it beforehand.
All in all, they just lost a patient and customer. I will not be back.
