UCHealth Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center - Lone Tree

Everything from scheduling to check out was flawless. The office staff was welcoming and courteous. I saw Dr. Angela Demetrulias, and she was amazing. She answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. She took her time and explained everything that was going on with my eyes and thoroughly detailed her assessment. She quickly established a rapport and was empathetic and kind. I felt I could totally trust her judgment and expertise. I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs treatment for an eye condition.

I have been going here since I have been having serious vision issues. The doctors are fantastic, no wait times. It is just for medical issues, you can't get eye exams or contacts/glasses here, unfortunately.

I can't say enough good things about this eye center... From the front desk to the doctor. They are all just great! I'm so happy to be able to continue my eye care there. Some staff members make things very difficult for self-pay patients. Left-hand does not talk to the right hand. Some staffers don't even know about the "No Surprise Billing Act". Some staff members are very condescending. One staff member threatened me because I disagreed with her. Doctors assistant got my medical notes wrong I noticed when I was reviewing them, so I sent corrections.. No one contacted me back. Seems like a "one and done" facility. Vision testing is conducted with a video screen that isn't even high definition. I looked at the screen close up, and the resolution and Edges of images were not anti-aliesed. I work with professional equipment all the time and they need an upgrade. They don't like self-pay patients because they make a lot more money off Insured patients..IMO. Large conglomerate medical systems, like UCHealth are built for raking and money. True patient care and resolving problems is secondary on the agenda. Yvette, the woman at the front desk when I was leaving was actually very nice. I had a massive migraine after an inconclusive refraction. She offered me a snack as she could see. I was not feeling well. All stated as my opinion. Edited: I see below a suspicious AI response generated from UCHealth. So sad.

The exam was thorough and detailed, with Dr. Van Dok explaining every step and ensuring I understood the results. She took the time to answer all of my questions and provided invaluable recommendations for my vision care.
