I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes. My distant vision is now exceptional, with no need for glasses while driving or most other things. Dr. Huang did a fine job and answered my questions, and the rest of the staff at MHEI were professional as well. I only wish that someone would have advised me that since I only had my distance vision corrected, my near vision is actually a little worse than before. But I was advised that I would still need reading glasses for close work. Overall, MHEI did a very good job.

Dr. Huang is a gem. He is so friendly, professional and skilled. Every one of the staff was also professional and welcoming. I had anxiety over the surgery, fear of the unknown.
I'm 80 and wasn't sure what to expect. The prep went well with all of the numbing drops administered as ordered. They placed a warm blanket on me just before surgery and it felt so good. The operating room staff was so friendly and funny too. I was very comfortable with them
When Dr. Huang came in, he started promptly
They even asked.what music I'd like to be played! The surgery took 10 minutes and I did not feel any pain at all. I was released quickly after surgery. This is a first class operation that knows each person's role to make their patients feel welcome and comfortable. If you need a doctor, Dr Huang is top notch.

I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Huang, from Mile High Institute, handle my cataract surgery. From the initial visit, I felt I was in good hands. He is extremely knowledgeable, made me feel at ease and well informed. Marshall Huang, MD is a fellowship-trained cataract and glaucoma surgeon. He completed his Bachelor of Science at Cornell University and his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. This was followed by his Ophthalmology residency at the top-ranked John A. Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He the finished his training with a fellowship in glaucoma and complex anterior segment surgery with Minnesota Eye Consultants.
