William Richheimer, MD

Dr. Richheimer and his team are so wonderful! I was nervous about cataract surgery in both eyes, but after meeting him for the initial examination at Vail Vision in Edwards, CO, he completely put me at ease, and I scheduled the surgeries at his clinic, at Mile High Eye Institute in South Denver. Except for Denver traffic, the entire experience was easy and painless! Every step of the way, his staff made me feel at ease and comfortable, and they answered ALL my questions! He spoke to me encouragingly all throughout both surgeries, which were 5 days apart. I have perfect vision now, thanks to Dr. Richheimer and ALL his wonderful assistants! Thank you, Dr. Richheimer and your amazing team!

I had a problem booking an appointment and posted a negative review here. When Dr Richheimer got wind of the problem he became proactive and resolved the issue right away by getting me in the office the next day, even thought it was late a night. The entire issue was resolved within 24 hours and I am delighted with the result. I highly recommend Dr. Richheimer and hope his staff can duplicate his dedication.

I had PRK done on both eyes just over a year ago and could not be happier with the results. I don't even think about my eyes/vision anymore (had been in contacts since age 10) Dr. Richheimer and team was fantastic. Answered all my nervous questions, several times which I really appreciated. Very kind and assuring. I felt very well taken care of, would recommend for anyone who is ideal candidate, will change your life!

I was very nervous going into surgery, but Dr. Richheimer and his staff made me feel very comfortable. More importantly, both of my cataract surgery went very smoothly and now I don't need any glasses. Both surgeries went very quickly and his team talked to me during the whole procedure. It helped me just feel calm.

I had a great experience with Dr. Richheimer and his crew. I called with several questions before and after my cataract procedure and they happily answered them all. I was never worried or concerned about the eye surgery and I am healing very well. Everything went as planned and am so grateful for my new sight!!! My experience has been very positive. Dr. Richheimer is both very competent and he has been very effective in providing me information and answering my questions - very easy to understand. And a great sense of humor. His nursing and technical staff were just great - clearly they have a very effective process, but also provided personal attention to me as a patient. Frankly getting my cataract surgery was easier than having dental work or getting my car washed - the idea seemed a little overwhelming, but Dr. Richheimer and staff made it work so very well. I have continued my eye drops and have had my two appointments with the third coming up on the 24th with Dr. Karlquist, but have no problem, no pain, no irritation, no problems period! Was nervous about the surgery, but had so much confidence in the staff and Dr. Richheimer, MD. Everyone was kind, caring, and most of all, cared about me. Walked me through the procedure, put me at ease. Cataract surgery was quick and simple. No pain. And recovery time was minimal. Thank you to Mile High Eye Center. Great team work!
