Went in to set up an appointment and an account. One young lady working at the back computer informed us that there was a cancelation for 1:45. I said that will do. Great team, efficient, well-managed facility. Grateful we have them here in Trinidad. Month ago I made an urgent appointment and got in within 2 hours. I barely had my paperwork done before I was being seen by the skilled and professional techs and OD. This past week I just had a regular exam. The office has been remodeled and is really nice. The staff as usual was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend.

Took my elderly mom in for a new patient exam. Everyone was friendly, helpful and efficient. Mom found a pair of frames she likes and look nice on her. The paperwork they need is thorough, so do it at home prior and bring it in. She really liked Dr Schlomer.

Went in for an appointment that I scheduled nearly 2 months ago and waited a half an hour outside before finally deciding to leave and call to reschedule. I can't believe that they would schedule an appointment at 8 o'clock in the morning (a cold winter morning!) And not even be open! I'm beyond outraged and to be honest I'm not sure I even want to give them another chance. Maybe after I calm down and warm up after having to wait on a very cold morning ugh!

Fantastic assistant and doctor so that part wss wonderful but the optical clerk could have been a lot more personable. She's the reason I've never purchased anything there in the past. She was vague and condescending when I inquired about pricing. I was prepared to buy them there, but her utter lack of adequate responses to my questions left me thinking I'd be better off online. She was completely indifferent and didn't answer specific questions about lens add-ons, only that my glasses would run around $800 "fully loaded". It was terrible customer service; particularly for such a necessity. She also did not elaborate at all about any possible payment options or not after I told her my pension comes in four days from now, and her attitude left me feeling embarassed as a senior on a pension, and frankly ticked off, so now everything is up in the air.
She is the same person with whom I inquired about getting my contacts the last time I had an exam and her attitude was why I didn't purchase those there.

Dr. Newbold and the staff are very friendly, professional, and very helpful. My appointment was done in a timely manner so I was able to get back to work. My son was also previously seen by Dr. Newbold and the staff was great with him. It was his first eye appointment and they were very kind and patient with him.
