Walmart Vision & Glasses

I will NEVER in my life go back the the female optometrist in the Walmart vision center,I left from there so frustrated and in tears! Scheduled our contact fittings for me and my son,was told I had to pay 50 for me due to being a contact wearer already,but because my son was not,I had to pay 70 for him,because she had to "teach" him how to put them in and get them out,to start,our appointment was at 3,I did it early,due to the fact I had to be at work at 4:30,got there,and literally sat until almost 3:45,so now 45 mins PAST appointment time,whatever,is what it is,can't do anything about it,but now have to rush,so I'm not late to work,me and my son go back,she says to start with me,cool no problem,she asks if I'm ordering 6 month supply,I said no ma'am need to get script to order elsewhere,told me no,that she cannot write my script to order somewhere else,that's illegal,and a script has to be written WITH a specific brand(false,been to plenty of eye Drs that give whatever trail pairs,then gets script to order online like I do,has NEVER had to put a specific brand) told her she was wrong,asked me what brand I wore,pulled it up on 1800contacts,tells me it don't show strength,zoom it in and said yes ma'am it does,SHE GIVES ME THE SAME STRENGTH FROM 2 YEARS AGO,THAT I CANNOT SEE OUT OF,told her that,she she gave me another trial pair of a stronger strength,then said if those work THEN she will give me my script with that specific brand,annoying,because I want to order whatever brand I want,not what she decides.whatever,get to my son,by this time it's 4pm,he's STRUGGLES to get the contacts in,took him an hour to get 1 in,took less time for other one,she does the exam,asks him to read off the letters,he cannot see AT ALL,can't make out ANY of the letters,and tells her 3 TIMES he can't see out of them,she ignores it,and I'm trying to tell her,ignores it,then comes the removal of said contacts,by this time I'm now late to work,my son just CANNOT get the contacts out,the way she taught him to put them in was all wrong,and harder than using both hands,and removal directions were just as bad,he struggled,could NOT get them out,finally she says,I'll help you take that one out,I said no ma'am take both out,in already way late to work at this point,she takes FORVER removing the contacts,then we are getting ready to leave,and she takes the contacts!! Says you can come back and practice,but I'm keeping them here,so I paid 70,for contacts,she kept,AND contacts he can't see out of at all.the WORST experience! I will spend the extra money,and stay with America's best,they are amazing at their jobs,and has never made getting my script a hassle,and have been amazing!

Unimpressed with the customer service end of communication. I had ordered my contact lenses over a week ago was told it wouldn't take long to arrive at this location and yet here I am, waiting. No call nor no response on my lense order. The eye doctor is great I would recommend her but as far as any form of communication on the services end I give a rating of 1. I'm not sure what/why the hold up or delay is but if this is how they treat their customers I will take my business and recommendations for my family/friends elsewhere. This will be the last time I do any type of business with Walmart Vision and I would rather pay more and be treated with better service than what I've gotten from here. I don't see any improvement even from many years ago when I last had the SAME issues in 2006. Smh .. Thanks, for nothing but the same unsatisfactory disappointments once again.

All I needed was two new pads on the nose grips of my glasses. The gentleman didn't fuss at all about the request. He helped me right away and didn't charge me anything! Professional all the way.

Last week was my first time coming here. Dr. Cown was very thorough and listened to my concerns. I got my first pair of progressive lenses in today and I just want to say that I am very pleased with the experience I had here. Thank you!

Another wonderful experience with the great staff at Walmart Optical. Dr. Whiteman and her colleagues are top notch and went above and beyond with helping me get my perfect fit for my eyeglasses and sunglasses. I highly recommend!! Friendly and professional through and through. Thanks.

Just want to say happy Thanksgiving and thank you to Kimberly Joe and Sarah. Amazing people super kind. They did everything in their power to save me as much money as they possibly could. They treated me with respect. Even though I had no experience with Obtaining I wear. Spoke to me friendly and courteous. Did not judge my education on eyeglasses. They all need to raise!

Great experience! After being kind of bummed out by a different Walmart vision experience this place more than made up for it! The young lady who worked in the front and the Dr. herself were both very helpful, personal, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you for your help getting my eyesight correct!

Dr Taffy has no rapor Gave me so many try in contacts would have taken 3 months to receive a pair Did not solve my eye medical problems went to a different Dr. Don't go !hope this helps!
