Excellent experience today! The selection is unbeatable. My visit with the optometrist was amazing. She was delightful and very informative. The Associates that helped us through the process were also exemplary. Truly made the process seamless and easy. I booked online and followed the process, showed up to my appointment and was in and out within an hour. Highly recommend!
Excellent experience, especially in comparison to some other eyeglasses shops over the years. Expert assistance on function, aesthetics, and best options was provided. I actually enjoyed the selection process.
The selection of frames was very good but could be expanded a bit, and it would be great if they accepted AARP or other discounts - that's a general opinion on policies, not a location specific note.
My experience at this store was great! One person patiently helped me pick out frames while another managed the order. I was in a bit of a hurry, and they calmly and efficiently gave me all the help I needed; I was in and out quickly. Thank you!
Came in today to use up my FSA and get new glasses for me and my wife. While most are familiar with Warby Parker's frames and online reputation, some might not have experienced an in-store visit. All I have to say is -- their staff is absolutely awesome -- well informed, fast and patient at the same time, thorough, and extremely friendly. It was such a nice experience. I really can't say enough. If the team working today reads this -- thanks so much!!
I had already had an eye exam elsewhere but came in because I liked the styles of the glasses I had seen online. I was greeted and they let me look around freely for glasses I wanted. During my search three different worker came to check in to see if I needed help. When I was done they shipped everything to my home.
After some issues with my usual optometrist, which involved her showing up late to the appointment (and not because she was working with other patients, which would be valid), and due to rising costs (450 dollars for ONE pair of glasses), I decided to check out this place at the behest of a family member, as I had some FSA funds to burn before December 31st.
Here are my thoughts:
Selection: 10/10 -- The selection of glasses frames is important to me. Most optometrists don't have a great selection. Warby Parker has tons of glasses frames, from modern wayfarer styles to retro cat eyes to 80's styles. Something for every face type or preference.
Assistance: 10/10 -- Lots of friendly staff with a good eye for picking out frames and determining needs.
Scheduling -- 10/10 Done right there in the store, on a tablet, emails sent over, minimal fuss. Everything is done at their store. I came in a week later for an eye exam and I was fitted for lenses. Optometrist on duty that day was friendly , professional, no-nonsense, which I liked. She nailed the lens script, and I got a copy immediately, which was nice, becuase my other place drags you through the mud to get it. Yes, I know you are entitled to a copy, but they don't make it easy there. At Warby, I think they email you AND it's in your web portal account, so you can just order more glasses whenever.
Cost: 8/10 -- Two lenses fully kitted for me with exam was around $380. Not bad, I guess. Other shops charge a LOT more for ONE pair. I imagine without exam it would drop the price significantly. Still a great value. Am pleased.
Shipping: Lenses are not cut in house, they are shipped to you via USPS. It took about a week to get them from time to cut to delivery. Not bad.
Summary: One stop shop for basic glasses and contacts fitting. I don't know how well they could handle eye diseases, I imagine they would screen for them based on tests, but I don't have anything crazy going on with my eyes, nor did I seek them out for that. But if you just want like, three pairs of cheap glasses without going to a place like America's "Best" (blegh!), this is 100% the place to do it without any fuss and with good customer service.
Staff was very helpful. My total was 200 w/o insurance for a pair of eyeglasses with bluelight filtering and high optic lenses. It helps to be able to try on all the pairs I was interested in online.
I've always loved Warby Parker's service, and the Westminster location was no exception. I came in for an eye exam and new glasses on a busy day, but even with just one associate running the store, I received a personalized, attentive experience. He suggested frames I wouldn't have picked myself and guided me through choosing the right lenses. When I later decided to switch to high-index lenses, customer support made the exchange super easy. Warby Parker consistently delivers excellent service. I can't imagine going anywhere else for glasses!
