The Vision Shoppe

Great experience! Was in the area with a pair of busted eyeglasses and they took care of me immediately. 10 minutes later, my glasses were nearly as good as new and it was no charge for the repair.

My experience at the Vision Shoppe was fantastic. I was in and out, efficiently serviced at a high level, greeted with friendly faces, warmly welcomed and the owners went above and beyond to help. Danny and Steve were awesome and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend, great services and business and will be going back for any of our eye care needs.

Over the course of years I have gotten my eyewear from The Vision Shoppe. They are a great and affordable store to buy prescription eyewear from. The staff that work there are also very nice and helpful. I have gone there a few times to have my frames tightened or adjusted and they always did a good job. The last time I needed that done with my most recent glasses, I walked in and said hey my glasses seem a little loose and one side seems to be a little lower than the other. The guy took a good look at the glasses on my face and then took the frames and said that he would heat them so he could adjust them for me. He was back in just minutes and said "try them now" and I did. The glasses fit perfectly and were perfectly straight on my face like I wanted. Just recently, I had broken off one of the nose pads somehow, and simply walked into the store later that day and said that one of my nose pads fell off. They took the glasses and came back less than five minutes later and told me that they had replaced both pads for me. Best part of all is they did it free of charge. I love this store and deffinitely recommend it for eyewear. Thank you for reading this review.

NEGATIVE STARS ! This place is horrible. I will never go back. Ms Alushi is so unbelievably rude. When I got there I had to call before going in. While speaking to the doctor I tried explaining that I had to bring my daughter who was NOT sick, in with me. Due to personal reasons she didn't go to school. When I tried the doctor hung up on me. I saw her at the door and mentioned I was hung up on and my daughter was with me. She gave me a horrible attitude the rest of the exam and it was the most uncomfortable unprofessional exam I have ever experienced. Immediately she responds oh great so bring your sick child here that's great. I responded with she's not sick. She cut me off and said yeah well with things getting a little better everyone just thinks they can do whatever they want. Any time I tried to speak her responses were mmhmm sure. Towards the end of the exam she said I had extremely dry eyes. She recommended drops and gel drops at night. I had told her that I wasn't a fan of how the gel felt, trying to converse with her and see if there was an alternative and her response was well just do whatever you want. Don't ever go to this place. The place is all bagged up as if all customers are disease infested zombies. she is a very rude lady who thinks she can talk down to people. Don't spend a second here. She's horrible!

This place is the best! I had a last minute emergency on a weekend where my glasses where destroyed and I needed a new pair and this place accepted me on a Saturday last minute!! Everyone was kind and understanding and I had my exam and glasses in only an hour and a half. The service was impeccable and the doctor was very kind. Definitely will be coming back here for any of my vision needs

Horrible.. DISHONEST.. and incredibly UNPROFESSIONAL!! Hands down the worst facility to visit for any eye exam. Please BEWARE of untrustworthy employees. Especially the eye doctor. Doctor mentioned she only "plays doctor on tv." As she continued to be sarcastic. It hurts to be treated, as the way I was treated by them. I hope the establishment understands that without any loyalty towards their customers, they will not be able to run a business. I wish them nothing but the best .

A few weeks ago my glasses fell apart in my hands. I had gotten them from an eye doctor in new Milford who td me they were not tepsirae. I ordered a new pair and left with a promise they would be sent out by july 23rd. On the 23rd I got a call saying it would be another 3 weeks at least before I would receive them. Meanwhile I'm wearing my glasses held together with tape, and not sitting correctly on my face so I was not looking through the correct part of the lens. It was causing me all kinds of vision problems...Everyone I called said they couldn't repair them for different reasons. Then I called the Vision Shoppe. The young man that answered said - bring them in an I'll see what I can do..I pulled up in front and called him and he came out and took my broken eyewear. After about 10 minutes, he came out with my glasses heat shrunk back together. They are perfectly functional now. There was no charge for this repair. I was so happy that I could see correctly again. I would recomend the Vision Shoppe for eyewear and repairs. I think I'll switch to the Vision shop. A pleasant experience....

Until now I've had nothing negative to say about this establishment, however I made an eye exam appointment weeks ago for today the 19th. After waiting weeks for said appointment, I receive a message 3 days before my appt telling me they have canceled it due to my lack of response to their covid screening calls. So I called a day later, got their answering service (ironically enough) and explained my lack of contact was due to a sudden loss in my family, to which I had to attend and was also grieving!!!! Was told I'd get a call back... which I did, the following day (aka day of the appointment) to be told "Sorry for ur loss but I gave ur slot away... but we could see u in a month?"!!!!!! WHO DOES THAT?!!! NO COMPASSION OR CONSIDERATION FOR WHAT PEOPLE MAY BE DEALING WITH IN THEIR DAILY LIVES!!!! I am hurt and disgusted and still left with strained eyes and no new scrip!!! Thanks for the humanity NOT shown Vision Shoppe!
