Ray did a phenomenal job helping me. He went over and above helping me find frames that I really like. Ray was very patient explaining the different lenses which made it easier for me to choose the best lense for my needs. He also helped me stay within my budget.
The front desk staff was very welcoming and efficient during my appointment. Prices were given up front and there were no hidden fees or charges.
Dr. Patel was excellent. She made the exam very comfortable, explained everything well, answered my questions, and offered advice. I went in not knowing much and felt like I came out with a lot of knowledge.
The office and equipment are very clean and everything was completed on time. I would recommend this office and Dr. Patel to anyone looking for good care and honest service.
Leanna & her team are amazing!
Dr.Patel is also fantastic!
As I read through these reviews where people have complaints, my one major question usually is have you never made a mistake? These people are humans and they occasionally make an error, my experience with them over the past five years, if they make a mistake they usually correct it! This has been my experience in East Windsor. Once I didn't understand what was place and I thought they had made a big mistake when the doctor explained it to me it made perfect sense. Without the understanding of optical the mistakes just look like a mistake to me but it turned out I was the issue after the doctor explained it to me. They are truly licensed professionals!
I have paid way too much for way too long! I thought I would be sacrificing service for price but I was wrong. Everyone in this office is knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous. I'm paying less than half of what I did before and was welcomed and attended to immediately. Dr. Patel is fabulous and the staff at Walmart Vision Center were impressive in every way.
I hadn't been to the eye doctor in over 5 years and I desperately needed new glasses.. so I took a chance on my day off and I'm SO glad I went to see Dr. Devina Patel! The woman at the front desk was extremely pleasant, quickly checked my insurance coverage, I filled out a quick intake form and was having an exam less than 10minutes later! Dr. Patel is extremely knowledgeable and created an atmosphere where I felt safe and comfortable, and her energy is warm and welcoming like I had been friends with her my entire life. I haven't had the best experience with doctors who actually make you feel like YOUR time is valuable, but I never once felt like my appointment was being rushed, or that she was trying to hurry me out to move on to her next patient. Instead, it felt like they had an established system in place to make your experience feel as smooth and effortless as possible. This is how you know you found an excellent doctor! Also, nowadays you go to any doctor and get referred out for almost everything.. but Dr. Patel has a new machine that takes pictures of the inside of your eye so you don't need eye drops to dilate and then sit and wait 30mins before checking them. Perfect for people who are busy and want to avoid all of that! I got to see these pictures and she explained what we were looking at/what she was looking for. I liked that she didn't just say that everything looked normal.. but I learned something too. I had a fantastic experience and will recommend Devina to everyone i know. I wish i could give more than 5 stars. You won't be disappointed!
My 23-year-old daughter, my husband and I have been going to Vision Center for several years. We get our progressive glasses, single vision glasses and contacts from there. We have also, on several occasions, gotten our prescriptions at VC.
This past year we've had a negative experience. The prescriptions were way off (they have a new eye doctor) on two of us (I had my eye exam done elsewhere) - and the glasses were measured incorrectly. Unfortunately, my husband was told he couldn't get his fixed once he realized it was the glasses that were messed up - because it was outside the 30 day warranty. The problem was, it wasn't a 30-day warranty, apparently it was a 90-day warranty but we were given incorrect info. So he lived with the bad prescription, and TILTED his glasses so that he could see far off. Of course this wasn't workable when he drove - he had to constantly adjust his glasses. Not only was his prescription WAY OFF, the measurements taken for the glasses was way off as well. So he had to get refitted. One day his glasses broke. He had that 1-year warranty he paid extra for. So he went to get replacements. However, the prescription was actually no good so the warranty was useless.
My daughter had a similar experience, but the moment we realized her glasses prescription was not good, she returned her glasses. For now she is doing without - just using her contact and her OLD glasses. We are done with Walmart's Vision Center. The new eye doctor isn't anywhere near as pleasant as the previous, and these last two prescriptions she has screwed up. Our eyes matter to us. We'll pay more elsewhere!
Vanessa has patients of a saint has been helping me through not only every insurance change and appointments for my daughter. But has been helping me figure out my insurance also and today I get my eye exam! Whoop whoop love her
Leann, the manager is totally amazing! She took her time with us, my kids and i, was so informative, and worked up all of our options. Our family is going to her team from now on!
