Eyes on Fairfield

I picked up my first progressive pair a couple of weeks ago and it's been a seamless transition from distance only. Dorothy, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and honest. I am so happy that I walked in to Eyes on Fairfield one afternoon. I had been hunting for a great pair of eye glasses for months. Dorothy, who is the new owner, is incredibly helpful from start to finish. I wandered around a bit "wowed" by her unique offering. When I needed help, she had me try on a bunch of frames that I wouldn't have normally tried on. I quickly realized that Dorothy knew what frames would look better on me than I did. Amazing customer service and and a top notch experience!

Dorothy Reynolds super power is matching perfect frames to every face! I just picked up my latest pair and they are the best yet! I really love them and would not have found them without Dorothy's help. Also, my eyes are different prescription strength. Getting glasses online or from a chain would not work for me because with those glasses one of my eyes would look huge and the other would look small. Dorothy has the magic to adjust the lenses so that both of my eyes look to be the same size through the glasses. Highly highly recommend!

For my first pair of progressives, I went to a big box store. They were not the right match for my work type. I decided to go see Dorothy on recommendation and was schooled properly on the type of lens and customizations needed. I'll keep previous glasses for general use, but should have visited this shop first! Expensive lesson learned.

I am a relatively new convert to EOF, having been a customer for only about a year, after getting some poor performance with my lifelong Fairfield Optician. I'm very happy that I switched, as Dorothy Reynolds (the owner, I believe) is both a skilled professional and very honest. I have no qualms with recommending them above any optician I've used or visited in Fairfield County over 40+ years. Really 1st rate.

Love this eyewear shop. Have been strutting around in style rockin several awesome frames for several years. ( " several" because I've lost a few!! Dorothy is a hoot and I always have a great experience there. She's smart snd talented and not sure Id trust anyone else in the industry. I used to live in Fairfield and have since moved to NY and continue to return here for eyewear needs. Wherever I travel I'm stopped and told how great the glasses are and where did I purchase them. I just picked up my progressive glasses today. I have worn glasses for 50 years and I have to say this was by far the easiest and most perfect experience I have ever had in getting a prescription filled. My frames are stylish, comfortable and fit me to a T with no laborious adjustments needed at time of pick up. No adjustments were needed at all. The script is spot on with no "getting used to" period needed. I feel like I got a brand new set of eyeballs installed. I can't thank these ladies enough for giving me the most perfect fit all around! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
