My ophthalmologist passed away and I had to find someone new. The old office sent a list of recommendations and Dr Noecker was first on the list. I knew that something was wrong and they got me in fairly quickly. I did need cataract surgery and I opted to have laser to fix my astigmatism. When my second eye was complete, I had 20/20 sight. No glasses got anything! After a couple of years, I saw a cloudiness in one eye. I thought that the new lense had clouded over which I knew could happen. I saw Dr. Noecker and when he checked me, he discovered that I had wet AMD! He connected me with the greatest Retina specialists and my sight is great. I have a genetic malformation of both eyes as well as cataracts and narrow angle glaucoma. Dr. Noecker replaced my lenses using laser surgery. It was fast and completely painless. Dr. Noecker is a no-nonsense, efficient professional. I felt 100% safe in his hands. Would definitely see him again if needed and highly recommend.

My first visit with Dr. Noecker resulted in his telling me I had a number of serious eye conditions and he highly advised a laser procedure to fix them. I subsequently learned that he brags to his friends about how much money he makes from performing so many laser procedures. So I went to another eye doc where I found out I do not have anything wrong with my left eye which Dr. Noecker told me had glaucoma, I do not have several other eye conditions that Dr. Noecker advised treatment by laser.

We recently started seeing Dr. Noecker for my mother's glaucoma and light sensitivity issues. He was referred to us by her optometrist as we were not getting anywhere with her former specialist. Dr. Noecker quickly assessed the situation and came up with a reasonable solution. Three relatively minor surgeries later, we are making progress and have totally eliminated the use of pressure reducing drops that were making her eyes very sensitive to light. While she is not out of the woods yet, there is definitely progress where we had been given no hope. Because of her age and the criticality of her vision loss, we have been seen in every one of Dr. Noecker's offices, East Haven, Fairfield, Norwalk and Meriden on a frequent basis. In each one, the staff has been more than wonderful, kind and patient and all sorts of scheduling accomodations have been made. I can't tell you how pleased I am with this practice, with Dr. Noecker and with the progress mom is making.

Today was my second visit, and I was quite annoyed by the wait. It took the good doctor an hour to see me. Mind you, I was on time. I actually arrived sooner, so my wait time was longer than an hour. Prior to visiting Dr. Noecker, I researched, I made a conscious decision to see him. I wanted better care for my eyes, I wanted a specialist, and Instead, I was seen by a "factory style" doctor. IMHO the patients were treated like cattle, one by one we were being whisked into his office. He was so overbooked it was utterly ridiculous. This had nothing to do with the pandemic issues, and how protocol is these days. He had a full staff. He honestly had too many patients for one doctor to see. I will seriously reconsider whether I'm going to continue to see him. 1 hour wait, that's absurd.

I went to this doc for cataract surgery. He is only interested in doing laser surgery which is not covered by insurance. He also doesn't offer a lense that most docs use as it is affordable. He is obviously only looking for patients with no financial limits.

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Noecker and it was a great experience. Answered all my questions, smooth procedure and the staff was amazing. Thank you.
