They don't know there own turn around time for eye exam to getting glasses I went and did the exam bought glasses they said that day a week. Called a week later "another week". Called two weeks later are the glasses ready ? "No another week". I have a feeling I'll have to wait another week. Don't get my hopes up just say it will take a month don't lie or assume to me.

We get there and sign says they at break. No problem, we shop around and go back 10 minutes after they are reopened. The store is EMPTY, and the guy sitting with his feet up on a chair, flipping through his phone.
He doesn't stand up, offers no greeting and looks annoyed we stopped in. We ask if he could fix eyeglasses and willing to pay, he was rude and barely looked at them and said No. He did not offer to assist with new pair, set up an appt..nothing.
JCP crying about slow business well this is why. Won't be going back.
Meanwhile Lens Crafter Staff in same mall were pleasant, helpful and provided great service.

Great service. Was greeted by a gentleman, very informative and knowledgeable, he was able to assist me with an exam , glasses and explained advantages using ins vs promo, I was able to utilise my insurance to max. Overall great service, staff is nice and doctor is very good. Highly recommend it.

Safety to their customer is very important . The store is clean and the frames are sterilized before the customers try them out. Any issues you have with your glasses..it's resolved without a hassle. I want to thank them for their service and patience.

Against all the negative reviews, I went for my annual eye exam to JCPenney optical.
I learned recently they brought on a new doctor, Dr Pam. She was so thorough with her evaluation of my eyes, but had me out in no time. Eased my anxiety for sure. I was greeted by Christine and Lori on the retail side whom communicated with the Dr of my prescription and health which was great. Christine and Lori both helped show me the frames on display and helped explain my prescription and insurance coverage. They made sure if I had questions, they were there to answer. I purchased two pairs of glasses using my benefits and look forward to getting them.

the Dr was good however he needs a more customer friendly staff to the front
I went there and paid cash for my exam and was ready to pay $300 -$400 for my glasses but took my prescription with me . going to fill it at a more customer oriented place

I went there for my annual vision test (fully covered by my insurance)...but they cheated me by taking $50 more from my pocket in addition to my insurance.
They didn't inform me about this extra fee beforehand.
shame on you JCPenney !

On the website the store hours show as open till 6pm and I'm here at 2.45pm to pick up glasses and store is closed, lady who works here today came and said I asked if I can pick up glasses. She says no we are closed and come back at 3pm. If only she could let me pick up glasses and leave just few minutes already paid.Associates name is Lida
Looked up website and came in to waste my time waiting here. No sense of customer service.
