Dr. Stephanie Borey is by far the best eye doctor I have ever had! Never before have I been given such a thorough exam. I have difficult eyes were no eye doctor could ever correct...but she did! This was my second yearly exam and I'm just as impressed as the first. So professional and thorough ! I'd recommend her to anyone.

BY FAR the best eye doctor I've ever been to. Not only is she kind, she is also incredibly knowledgeable in her field and is familiar with the cutting edge eye research of our time (she was sharing that she read that technology is progressing in such a way that a comprehensive eye exam could be the first insight into a patient's likelihood of Alzheimer's). Making an appointment was easy and well-done, unlike previous reviewers who had experienced a rare computer software glitch :/ I have never felt in better hands with an eye doctor than with her. I'm potentially moving to Boston within the upcoming year for a job but definitely will try to keep her as an eye doctor if feasible. I do not often feel compelled to write reviews on medical professionals I've dealt with, but my immensely positive experience Dr. Borey needed to be shared :) Happy eye health!

My family and I recently relocated to Connecticut from Texas, and I was nervous about finding a new Optometrist. I selected this particular establishment more for convenience, as it's close to my home, but I am so very grateful that I booked with Dr. Borney. I have never had a more pleasant experience, and I appreciate how Dr. Borney is thorough and detail oriented when it comes to conducting all eye exam portions. She is very passionate about her work, and I sensed that she cares very much about her patients. The staff are most polite and friendly, and so very patient. I highly recommend this establishment.

Well search no further. For DR. Stephanie Borey is all the above and much more for she genuinely listens to all of your concerns and questions followed by a very thorough exam. She "in my eye's" no pun intended goes way above and beyond the call of Eye Doctor duty! And lets not forget about Melanie the first warming face you "see".. she has such a loving disposition for she truly cares about your well being making you feel right at home. Hello, FYI if you are in search for an optometrist who truly cares about you and your eyes, then search no more, for you have come to the right site!!! With Dr. Borey you are not a number but a patient. She truly takes the time to get to know you and your history and figures out the best protocol for you and listens to any questions or concerns that you may have. With that being said we know that the eyes are the portal to your overall health and in my opinion with the above said you want Dr. Borey because she is the best. And lets not forget about Julie for she is the first face that you see. She basically sets the tone for this very positive experience. For she is very warming, professional and makes you feel important. And even better if you have any further questions she gets right back to you, she doesn't make you wait.

Dr. borey is hands down the best in town! My prescription is pretty complicated and no one has ever gotten it 100% right until I came to see Dr Borey! She also takes her time to get to know her patients and listen to their concerns. She's awesome! She also has a great discount on frames for military family. What do you have to lose? Come see her! Dr Stephanie Borey is SO thorough, attentive and professional. I've never had such a detailed and patient focused eye exam or any exam for that matter. We just recently moved to Groton and I cannot be more pleased with this doctor.

All seemed well enough when I had my exam less than a year ago. Then I noticed my glasses were very loose and peeling on the sides. Took them back and they couldn't tighten the screw and told me that it was normal wear and tear. They tried to get $200 for a new pair of glasses. The receptionist was very unhelpful and didn't care that I had to leave with a pair of glasses that were unwearable. I couldn't even talk to the doctor. I need my glasses to legally drive. You would think they would take care of their patients a lot better and sell better quality glasses. They basically said oh well nothing we can do. I will never go back. One star is to many for this place.
