This place is amazing! Everyone in this office from the doctor to the receptionists is absolutely wonderful. But most especially Adam.
I had an issue with my prescription, and Adam truly went above and beyond to help me. I was very anxious because the prescription was wrong, and he immediately made me feel calm and reassured. He let me know right away that he was going to figure out how to fix the problem and come up with a solution.
Adam reached out to my doctor, and between the two of them, we were able to resolve everything. I don't think he realizes how much he helped me, especially since I struggle with anxiety and was extremely nervous about my eyesight. He didn't just do his job; he genuinely went above and beyond, and I'm so grateful.
The receptionists were also amazing and quick to respond and also very helpful. Thank you to everyone. You all do such a great job, and I'm truly grateful to be a patient here.
I've been going here the past few years and the staff have always been very friendly. The techs have always been patient and knowledgeable and when I go to use my benefits for new glasses the optical employees have also been very helpful and also have ordered specific frames that I was able to customize the way I would like. I've met all 3 of the doctors there and they are very knowledgeable and patient in their career and if their is something they can't figure out they recommend you to an ophthalmologist or neurology (which was a case of a relative of mine). I'm very happy and appreciate the work this group does.
Awesome as always, and ratio on my progressives was spot on!(Thats not always the case when going to a chain store with all the fancy gadgetry etc). From picking the right frames, to deciding the right features , and making sure everything about the experience turns into a great of glasses, that's the attention to detail I appreciate. Highly recommended!
The experience at Groton Eye Center was exceptional, from the front desk staff to the professional and expert advice from Dr. Nardella. Her eye exam was thorough and her demeanor was calm and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Her knowledge and warm and caring persona towards her parients are genuine and heartfelt.
Organized office and very professional and polite. Exam was thorough. Adam (i think was his name) was a great help in picking out my glasses. Overall great experience.
I was a bit apprehensive to go to a new practice, but I had a great experience at Groton Eye Center. The staff was friendly and made me feel right at home. Dr. Nardella was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. I can't recommend them enough!
I have always had great experiences at Groton Eye Center. Dr. Nardella is very professional and thorough with her exams. She listens to you when you have a concern, and she makes sure that she is doing everything she can to help you out with what you need!
I started with this office in June. I have an astigmatism, but my eyes don't adapt well to astigmatism correction. Reluctantly, I agreed to try glasses with it included.
Round 1: The first pair of glasses felt like a fishbowl--distorted, wavy, and impossible to see through. I didn't even leave the office and asked for a remake.
Round 2: Slightly better, but still not wearable after a week. When I asked about re-checking my PD (which has always been 62), I was told OD 27 / OS 32 was "correct," even though it didn't seem right. Still, they went ahead with another remake.
Round 3: This time the lenses had no astigmatism correction, but my vision was still not even to the standard of my old glasses. I tried them for three weeks, then went back again.
At this point, the office manager told me I would need to pay for a brand-new exam with dilation to "figure out the issue." They also refused to take back the non-working glasses or refund the benefits they had already billed, saying I didn't give the first pair a full two weeks of "adapting" to an incorrect prescription. On top of that, I was told they "lost money" on me since they remade my glasses twice.
Overall, I left with no usable glasses, no resolution, and the feeling that my vision needs were not taken seriously.
