Took my daughter to see Dr Conrad as she had an accident where a sharp, plastic garden rod stuck in her eye, causing a significant corneal abrasion. Dr Conrad was compassionate, kind and professional. Bu the end of our visit, my daughter was left feeling much less pain and on her way to healing.

I've had nothing but the best care at Hamden Eye for years now. All the ladies up front are so kind, accommodating, and always welcoming. Dr Conrad is excellent. He is very thorough, and always takes the time to explain any details to me that I want to understand. It's a great comfort to know that you will get the proper care you need here.

I am new to the practice, being referred from my co-worker who referred Dr. Conrad without reservations. Upon arriving for my appointment i was checked in with very pleasant ladies at the front desk, after 20 min of sitting and waiting a young man took me to take pictures and pre-check my eyes. After a total of 30 min of waiting i went into the room and Dr. Conrad came in and started the exam. All in all i was not extremely impressed (he thought i went to their Wallingford office before; i was a new patient) he didnt look at my chart before asking me questions (i completed the form in full detail). I rated 3 stars due to the extremely long wait time for an eye doctors office (45min the first visit and an hour for my CONTACT FITTING! YEA for contacts! which im already familiar with wearing) and lack of concern for my time. Other than that i am so far pleased with his level of expertise as my contacts are feeling amazing! Will rate 5 stars for his knowledge but -2 due to my lack of satisfaction in waiting as it can be easy to overbook.

Dr Conrod is a very caring person and makes it a pleasure to go there.
