The store located on Park Lane in New Milford needs to be closed down and started over. I had an eye exam on 6/21/2025 and heard the staff apologizing to other customers for mix ups they'd made - I should have run for the exit. Instead, after 2 months and several calls and a second visit I still have no glasses. I received a text to say my eyeglasses had arrived so went to collect them. Only one person (other than Dr) was working and they were clearly short staffed. The one staff member was helping another customer select eyewear, but in the 25 mins I waited she never once acknowledged me. She seemed very frazzled so I stayed calm and patient - she is the person who did show up to work at least. She then asked what I wanted and handed me a plastic bag with 2 lenses inside, but no frames. I asked where my eyeglasses were and she said that's what I'd ordered. I explained I'd selected frames and paid for them and the text said they were there. She said that she only had the lenses but could help me find some frames to order. I asked her to stop clicking away at the computer and explained I already went thru all this. She insisted we had to order some frames and when I asked why after several weeks I had no glasses, she snapped "well I don't know, I don't own the lab where they make them!" I passed the plastic bag back to her and said have a nice day and left. I've called twice since and been promised a call back which never came. I am going to dispute the charge on the credit card and simply go somewhere else. DO NOT GO TO THE NEW MILFORD/PARK LANE STORE - It is truly the worst client experience of my life.

I needed an eye exam for new glasses and was able to easily schedule an appointment online. The appointment was honored and I had and everything involving insurance was reviewed before before coming in. The building itself is nice and is right outside the center of town. I took one star away just because the interior of the office could have been slightly upgraded. The chairs and the carpet looked slightly run down, but the glasses displays were organized and clean. I highly appreciate the Saturday hours and has a decent experience with the doctor and getting what I needed.

It's been awhile since get service here Doctors are good indeed and area of inside great . Now outside is very poor maintenance lots of walls humidity . Close on Wednesday and Thursday now what? No handicapped entrance quess is blocked now.

Jessica was amazing. I was stranded in CT due to a family emergency and ran out of contacts. I called multiple places to see if I could buy a trial pair and was treated rudely by this places, being told "no one will be able to help you"...that was until I called MyEyeDr and spoke to Jessica. She was so helpful and kind. She offered to look at my prescription I had with me and gave me a set of trial lens. I offered to pay and she said they were trials and empathized with me over my situation. She was a lifesaver and a bright spot in the middle of some very disheartening circumstances. Her kindness will never be forgotten. I don't know if she realized how much that small act of kindness meant to me. If I were ever to live here, I would go to this eye dr!! Their staff is clearly amazing!!

The Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor took her time explaining my results to me. They even double checked results that seemed abnormal which felt very thorough. They gave me ample time to choose frames and were very kind when I decided to keep my original frames for the time being.

I grew up in New Milford, and for a time, this was the only place that accepted our insurance. Unfortunately, our experience was consistently frustrating. They repeatedly gave my family the wrong prescription and the wrong frames, then denied their mistakes when we pointed them out. Additionally, one of the doctors was visibly upset when my father advised an elderly woman--who had mentioned being on a fixed income--against an unnecessary upsell for an extra pair of glasses "for her gardening." The wait times are excessive, and the service left much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My glasses were foggy and I was told that the outer film was distorted.... I was told someone will be calling me to tell me how much new lenses would cost! No call back. Maybe I should find another eye doctor

I really liked Dr. Elder (she came highly recommended by my viteroretinal surgeon) but after having gone to the practice twice for exams and contacts, I left feeling like I was at a used car lot trying to sort out the best price their products. It's almost like there were two offices in one. The doctor who was professional and respectful and the front staff trained to extract as much as they could from your wallet. Maybe, it's just the way the chain trains its front employees, I don't know. I wish others who go there, well, but I won't be back.
