This place is a miracle worker! I have loupes that the arm snapped off from constant stretching. Would have been an easy fix if it was the hinge but nope, I broke it. The lab lady (wish I took her name) worked her magic in less than 1/2 an hour. Honest and friendly! Not a place where they will strip you broke but provide quality work and leave you satisfied at the end of the day! Im a witness, she fixed my glasses and charge me nothing. Thank you soo much! I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful customer service.
They were able to temporarily repair my "unrepairable" frames which snapped at the bridge (and were purchased elsewhere), when no other shop ever bothered to attempt to try.
Very refreshing to have experienced a business operate the good old fashioned way.
These employees care about their customers don't use "corporate liability" as an excuse not to help a person who walked in off the street.
Kudos to them for thinking outside the box and so I can wear my existing prescription lenses for my upcoming neuro-opth appointment.

Outstanding independent optician who can and will have replacement lenses for eyeglasses they did not originally provide.
I needed new lenses for my rimless frames. I went to the original optical store only to be told they had been sold to another chain and lenses for eyeglasses they originally made could not be remade. I located The Eyeglass Place in Newington. After a quick call I went to the opticians and ordered new lenses. The staff is superb. The eyeglasses with new lenses were picked up today. They are completely comfortable with new progressive lenses.
