Dr. Randy Schulman

Dr. Nazami was amazing. The issue is the coordinators never told me the glasses exam was not included and the contact lenses fitting for $175. Triple check what your insurance covers. $40 copay to check the health of my eye. $85 for glasses prescription and $175 for contact fitting. I should have went to the Lenscrafters Friendly Eyes Optometry and paid less without insurance. Will not return here.

Excellent experience overall. I had been seeing another optometrist in connection with my vision problem for over a year. In one visit to doctor Schulman, my problem was solved. Great Staff as well.

Each person we interacted with at the office was kind, patient and knowledgeable. Easy to get an appointment, great location.

Easy to schedule with openings right away. The receptionist staff is kind and knowledgeable. They all made me feel comfortable throughout my first appointment. Shout out to Dr Nizami for being the best eye Dr I've ever had! She took time to walk me through everything and answer all of my questions and concerns. Very caring and competent.

We are so so so happy we were referred to Dr Schulman for our 3 year old daughters eye that sometimes turned in. We had been to multiple other eye docs and were told just to "keep an eye on it and if it doesn't change before she's 7, then that's when the eye stops sending signals to the brain, but until then she just has a certain prescription that's causing her eye to turn in." We were given glasses that she refused to wear bc she said she couldn't see with them on. We finally got referred to Schulman and after she spent a significant amount of time with my daughter she was able to see something completely different than other highly sought after opthamologists saw. We took her recommendations for different therapies for at home and with another practitioner and we've seen amazing results literally after the first session. After the first session my daughters eyes actually turned completely straight for a little while - something we had never seen her do. We keep up on the things she suggested and my daughter is more well balanced, her eyes don't turn in as much and we are incredibly grateful for her thoughtful and slightly different approach than getting her eyes dilated like the other docs we saw.

Dr Schulman is a very kind and compassionate doctor!

BEWARE! Randy Schulman diagnosed my one year old as having an "eye-tilt". She then sent us to an expensive therapy. Our pediatrician and pediatric ophthalmologist each took 10 seconds to evaluate my child's eyes and say she did not have an eye-tilt and each gave the same very simple explanation as to why it might appear that way. Ophthalmologist went on to say I had been scammed. I sent a complaint to the CT Dept of Public Health.

Dr Singh was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. She performed a detailed examination without any time limits and explained the diagnosis very well.
