New England Eye Care

I had a terrible experience at this office. After my eye exam on October 14th, I waited almost a month with no communication about my glasses and had to call about 20 times myself. No one ever called me back. When I finally got answers--only because I kept pushing--I learned that my glasses had been signed for before the office opened by an unknown person and were lost. I was also told the office has no tracking system for glasses at all, meaning they have no way to know which patients are still waiting for their orders. Trying to speak with anyone in authority was impossible. I had to wait over a week just to attempt to speak with a manager, doctor, or supervisor because I was repeatedly told none were available and that the only two people with authority were on vacation. Staff constantly contradicted one another, and Olha even refused to give me her name at first when I asked for documentation. Later, Jesse falsely claimed the delay was due to my "strong prescription," even though I had already been told the real issue was the lost package. I had already paid for my eye exam and asked for a refund only for the glasses, since I no longer wanted them due to the unprofessional experience. Despite that, Jesse refused to refund the portion I paid for the glasses, even after I made it clear I did not want them anymore. When I asked for my prescription, they then refused to release it unless I paid the remaining balance--despite this violating the FTC Eyeglass Rule. I felt pressured to pay just to receive something I was legally entitled to. To make matters worse, there were children under five sitting at the front desk near patient paperwork, adding to the unprofessional environment. Overall, this office had no tracking system, lost my glasses, gave no communication, repeatedly contradicted themselves, refused refunds, withheld my prescription, and provided an extremely unprofessional environment. I would not recommend this office to anyone. I urge you to spend your money elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.

The dr. Was very nice and explained everything to me and my daughter. Quick appointment and very nice staff.

Cynthia and the whole team up front was amazing! extremely helpful when helping me deal with my insurance and gave great advice!!

Cynthia was great. She had so much acknowledgment on every situation including reaching out to other eye doctors to get my mother a prescription. The doctor was excellent explained everything from the beginning to the end and my whole family receive their classes within a week I recommend them to anyone and they did not discriminate against Husky

I've been going there for years and they have s new staff now.. the woman at the front desk is the worse. In the total of 5 days (which was already 2 1/2 weeks after my glasses were due),I called the office 27 times looking for glasses. Excuse after excuse. Had to go get a refund and the girl was still lying. It was awful!! Til this day, I have no glasses. Never Never Go There!!! You have not contacted me at all. I have not blocked you at all. That's childish. Not the delivery issue Your front desk"lady" kept informing me that it will be there at that she will call back several times for 2 weeks. She lied. The issue is the lady not delivery or doctor. The fact that I have to repeat this is observed. Wow. Keep the glasses. Eyebuy direct give me 2 pair with transition, prescription and designer frames. For 80 dollars. I had them in less then 2 weeks. Bye!

I had to switch from another eye dr and found New England Eye Care. From making the initial appointment to forgetting my prescription at the counter after my appointment I had a great experience! The staff is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and have an extraordinary willingness to help. The Dr I saw was very patient, thorough, explained everything well, and LISTENED. I'm very glad that I switched!!! I do like a broader selection of frames though. They have a decent selection but I'm sort of a frame junkie lol

My two boys had an appointment for their yearly exam. This was our first time here and it was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we entered to the moment we left. The doctor was knowledgeable and professional, he made sure my boys knew exactly what was happening during their exams. The place was clean and the chairs were placed at a safe distance. They had good inventory of glasses to choose from and my son loves his glasses. He can't wait to wear them. I recommend them. Thank you New England Eye Care.
