I'm new to Ridgefield and had stumbled into Dr. Amatuzzi's storefront a couple of times because I needed my glasses tightened. The staff were incredibly accommodating in spite of the fact that I'd bought my glasses elsewhere. When it came time for an eye exam, I felt that I owed them my business. I was not disappointed. The entire team was attentive, friendly, and completely professional in every way. I found Dr. Amatuzzi's examination and process to completely thorough, patient friendly, with humor and genuine warmth. I walked out with a smile.

I have been to Dr. Amatuzzi for my annual check examination for the past 5 years. He is outstanding as well as his individual staff members. You just get a good feeling that they care. The service after on frames and lenses i purchased was excellent. I will keep going back. Thank you all

Very negative experience, I did not feel respected or heard as a patient. The process feels like a used car sales system. I was testing out a new type of contact and he said to come back anytime if it wasn't working and we can try something new...when I did he didn't even come out and acknowledge me and had his staff give me contacts that were the wrong prescription. They charged my VSP benefits for theglasses/contact discount when I didn't even buy anything. So when I went to a new glasses place, I was told my benefit was up. Feels like they're trying to squeeze money from you. Very disappointing

Dr. Amatuzzi gave me a very thorough eye exam he takes the time to get to know you and explains the process. The staff is amazing, they are knowledgeable about the products they carry and a great selection of frames from Europe. Jennifer was awesome helping me schedule an appointment as well as my my frame choices

Excellent service. Professional and VERY knowledgeable. Dr. Amatuzzi is engaging and explains in simple terms the complex structure of the eye. He quickly diagnosed a problem I had and had been told by my primary care physician nothing could be done about it. The staff is a pleasure to work with. In other words, these people know what they are doing. I highly recommend!

Dr. George Amatuzzi and his staff, Monica, Christina, and Anaya are amazing. Everyone is so kind, and knowledgeable especially Dr. George. He is kind, up front, knows his stuff and he cares! I won't go anywhere else now that I have been to him. Incredible, amazing, fantastic, genuine, and very knowledgeable. Thank you all so much

It was my first time going to an eye doctor and I was pretty nervous. Dr Amatuzzi was amazing. He made me feel comfortable, was super knowledgeable, and explained every little detail on what was going on with my eyes in a way that I could actually understand. His staff was just as wonderful. When it was time to pick a pair of glasses out I'm sure I wasn't the easiest to deal with because I tend to be pretty picky but the woman helping me went above and beyond. I can't tell you how many pairs she brought over for me to try on and listened to every little detail on what I liked and didn't like. I left there with the PERFECT pair. I wish I knew her name to give her some credit because she sure deserves it. The whole process from when I walked in to when I walked out was 10/10.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I had such a good experience today I think it's the least I can do. I wasn't a patient of Dr. Amatuzzi, but my regular eye doctor was on vacation and I felt like something was stuck in my eye - it was painful and annoying. My eye doctor via phone said to use an OTC ointment, which I found out, only makes it HARDER for the thing stuck in my eye to get out. Dr. Amatuzzi's office was so helpful, fit me in within an hour of my call and my appointment was friendly, productive and efficient. Dr. Amatuzzi was warm, and expert in his manner and was able to quickly and painlessly get out the pesky dirt flek that was bothering me, and was scratching my cornea every time I blinked. He gave me an Rx for drops to make sure it heals well and I don't have any issues and I was so grateful for such a prompt and helpful and friendly experience! He will now be my regular eye doctor!
