I saw the Dr of whom is was their last day. Had a IDGAF attitude. Rx is wrong, poor communication. Charged for fitting without giving trial pairs. When addressing the issue, met with condescending attitude, not believing an Rx could be wrong. I regret coming here as this was my experience. I'd recommend almost any place, but this place. If you choose to go here, I hope your individual experience is much better. Update- got a visit to have everything reviewed with Dr. Mesiti. He was very patient, knowledgeable, and took his time to do.things right. I firmly believe my original experience with this place stands true as the original dr I saw was "checked out" and the experience with the I assume "receptionist" also true. Dr. Mesiti I WOULD recommend. But think he may need facing an uphill battle with certain staff members he has. I may consider another appointment with him. For my personal experience, the first visit was horrible, miserable and just outright crappy. The second visit was ok, same receptionist with a chip on her shoulder. But again Dr. Mesiti, fantastic.

Made an appointment on December 2. Received confirmation email and text message that my appointment for December 3 at 8 AM was confirmed. Did online check-in and uploaded insurance information. Got to the location and was told I don't have an appointment, even though I have all the information on my phone confirming I was confirmed via email and text. Move around multiple appointments to make time work terrible customer service gave no reason why this happened and the only other option they gave me was to see me four hours later in the day and then don't have anything till December 30 absolutely ridiculous.

The customer service at the front desk is one of the worst I've ever experienced--extremely rude and unprofessional. A few weeks ago, I went in for an eye exam. The doctor was fantastic, but the staff at the front should be reevaluated. I was told I didn't have insurance to cover my glasses, which was confusing because I do have vision insurance. Instead of handling it privately, they shouted it across the room in front of several people, making me feel very uncomfortable. Later, I called back to clear things up and explained that I did, in fact, have coverage. The woman I spoke with was dismissive, rushed me off the phone, and was just as rude as before. Her only answer was, "You just need to come in." After the way I was treated, that was the last thing I wanted to do. I will never return to this location, and I'm glad I took my business elsewhere. This was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Not sure what to say? My old glasses vs new ones. How is this okay? They're not in the frame all the way. And neither is the prescription for my eyes right. Going back to my original eye doctor.. CT Eye Physicians Saybrook Rd Middletown recommended this place to me big mistake. I wouldn't recommend going to either one. Not sure if having state insurance had to do with it. My original eye doctor never did this to me. Seemed like they only wanted to push me to purchase something, disappointed I walked out. I just wanted proper new glasses covered by my husky insurance!! My old eye doctor never charged me anything for them. *Edit I went back 2-3 times and was told I have pay another $30 to get the lenses right* How is their mistake my fault? Really disappointing to do business with, wish I never stepped foot in this location. Edit* After going back almost 5 times and contacting patient relations, they did give me a refund for the glasses. I ended up be able to bring them back. Still leaving two stars for the level of difficulty just all around, and the time and gas I wasted, going back and forth just to correct the issue. Lesson learned*

Just wanted to drop a note about how happy I was with my recent visit. First and foremost thank you Kristine/a, your passion for your job really shines and was very appreciated!! You went up and beyond your call of duty thank you for repair and setting me up with new transitionals. Can't wait until I receive new glasses and thanks to your consideration, I should be getting them via mail later this week!! So happy as I left my old glasses in Glastonbury so blind in PA now lol. Your boss was really sweet to let you mail them out to me! You guys are the best

We had a bit of a rough start, but the team at MyEyeDr Rocky Hill quickly turned things around--and then some. Time and time again, they've over-delivered with unmatched competency, skill, and genuine care. From the front desk to the exam room, every interaction has been professional, efficient, and thoughtful. This is hands down the best spot for eye care in the area. I wouldn't trust my vision to anyone else.

Cannot say enough about my experience this morning with Dr. Mesiti and the entire staff at the Rocky Hill office. I came in with a worsening eye infection and am SO thankful they were able to squeeze me in. I was leaving for vacation and wanted to see a doctor before I left and MyEyeDr. was one of the few places open on a Saturday. I had never been to this practice before but was so impressed. The ladies at the front desk were kind, helpful and made the check in process fast and easy. Dr. Mesiti was amazing. I didn't feel rushed, he was thorough and knowledgeable and he even took the time to call me later in the day when I had a question about my prescription. A great big thanks to the entire team there, I truly appreciate everything you did for me today.

The people are nice but it literally took almost a month to get my prescription sunglasses. I won't go back again.
