Kelly Family Eyecare

I this office! I love it! I've been seeing Dr. Kelly since she took over at the Vernon Office. She is nothing short of amazing. She always finds time to fit me in if I'm having an issue, she talks to me like a friend, and shows general concern when something is wrong. She's extremely thorough with her exams. She checks and double checks if something seems unusual (needless to say, I have terrible eye sight and a few complications with my eyesight.) She really puts thought into what we're going to do next or what medication to prescribe or what blood tests I might need, etc. She's on it!!! The only occasional complaint I hear in that office is that the selection of glasses for patients on Medicaid/HUSKY are limited. But that has more to do with Medicaid than Dr. Kelly. The office staff have always so kind and accommodating. I believe there are some new stuff that I haven't met yet so I cannot give my opinion on them thus far, but I can tell you that I have never, not one time, ever, had an issue with the staff. They have been over backwards to help me. And when I forgot to pick up my contact lenses (and apparently, they were already paid for too) they held onto those lenses for 2 years until my daughter came in for an exam and they gave them to her and told her to "give these to your mother!!!" Lollll. I think The fact that they held onto the lenses is phenomenal, but even more so that they saw my daughter, immediately made the connection between she and I, remembered that the contact lenses had been sitting there for 2 years for me, and gave them to her to give to me. That's how committed the staff is. They are a direct reflection of Dr. Kelly's professionalism and compassion -- you can truly feel that every person in the office cares about their patients.

I have been going to Kelly Family Eye Care for several years now. I have had experiences at both the East Windsor and Vernon Offices. Dr. Kelly is a wonderful, sweet, down to earth person that listens to and works with her customers. All the techs are great. During my most recent lens replacement (just got a new RX, but kept the old frames) the new RX obviously came in faulty. With the exception of the initial conversation with whomever answered the phone when I first called with my concerns ("You just have to turn your head more" was the response I was given) interactions in person with everyone in the office was wonderful to help me get corrected lenses. They listened and heard my concerns and offered me several different options to make it right. Even though I made several phone calls and several visits, I was never made to feel like I was a pest or a problem to them. It was obvious they really wanted to make sure it was right and I was happy. I will continue to visit and recommend them to friends and family as I feel they are very attentive. They have never pressured me to buy more than I felt I needed to. The Vernon office is much larger than the EW office, and has a HUGE selection of lenses!

Billed my insurance and I never got glasses there !sent me a bill in mail multiple times but no letter that glasses there paid for that I never ever ordered changed phone number year ago who did u call ? Worst service ever ! LensCrafters took care of me for free !!! Sileas Deane highway !! Liars at Kelly's!

I've been a long time patient of over a decade and I will never go any where else! I take my family here and have recommended friends too. The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Kelly is absolutely amazing! She is phenomenal! Dr. J is amazing too! Gary is the best! They always work with me and have patience with me when picking out new frames as I'm so indecisive. I love Kelly Family Eye Care! Highly recommend!!!

My little girl who needs new pairs of glasses and I never been treated by someone like yesterday. We went there because used to be Fashion Vision or so and my daughter, husband and I liked the place. After the lady was rude to us, we left and went to LensCrafters and got everything we needed with very kind employees! We love it! My little girl is so happy with her new glasses and I am going to get my eye exam and new glasses also next week! Contact lenses for my daughter and I for summer! Maybe if the lady in Kelly's knew all our purchases she would treating us differently. But doesn't matter what, clients don't deserve to be experiencing like that specially when a mother has a 13 year old daughter getting to hold her tears.

TLDR: Drs are mostly good, there's a hard 10min late policy that they don't tell you about, and HUSKY selections are not great I have mixed feelings on this office. I have myself and 3kids. I travel about a half hour for this office. The optamologists are nice enough; but they won't schedule us all together (I understand not wanting large gaps if there's a cancelation, but I'm not the type of person to cancel) Secondly their late policy is extremely prejudiced against parents; who are at the mercy of schools letting their child out in a reasonable time frame. Our first appointment we were 10 minutes late due to a problem at the school. I tried to call, but it was first appointment of the day so I couldn't let them know (I tried, they didn't answer the phones) so they canceled the appointment . Apparently if you show up 9 minutes late they will see you but 10 minutes is a hard no. I was not informed of this until we were at the office. I didn't feel it was fair so.. Fair warning to any parents. Luckily it was a joint appointment for 2 of us so they took her, but I then had to reschedule for myself 3 weeks later after purposely making my appointment first because my prescription is badly outdated and I need new glasses for driving. Additionally the Dr did a very short assessment and did not offer to dilate her eyes. It seemed suspiciously short compared to the appointment I've had for myself and the other children since then. There's also a very limited selection for HUSKY. I did not end up getting frames and will have to order elsewhere because none of the options fit my face. I got glowing recommendations for this office but it's been a bit of a disappointment if I'm honest.

The office is very clean. The staff are professional, know and personable. The doctor is very comedic. It was the fun! He also gives a very thorough eye exam. He is very thorough. I only wish they would provide a visit summary. They also have a wide selection of frames. The have reasonably priced glasses. Try em out!

Im exceedingly particular when it comes to healthcare professionals because of too many terrible experiences. I now only go to what I consider the best of the best and Dr. Kelly makes my exclusive list She is patient, kind and does her job very well. I referred family to her and they praise her as well. Very thankful to have found her.
