1st time there, the staff was friendly and welcoming they answered any questions. Dr. Solinsky and his assistant were wonderful, very professional and answered all questions. Thank you to all!!

The receptionist at the front door was vulgar and loud mouthed while we waited. I don't think children need to hear the word suck as much as she was using it. We certainly didn't need to hear her phone conversation from the waiting area. Plus she seemed to make patients wait until she was done on the phone. We saw Dr. Patton who was very pleasant and helped to relive some of the stress we were feeling. A huge thank you to her! And a few words to patients at this location. The waiting room is very small. Please keep your cell phones off or take it out in the hall. No one wants to hear about your life's goings on. Voices don't need to be heard by everyone. Children should have headphones if using their devices. You don't live in the office and it shouldn't be treated like "your space"

I hardly ever write reviews but feel compelled to do so in this case. This is the worst eyecare place I've ever been to. They do a terrible job explaining what they are doing during eye exams, schedule numerous follow-up appointments for things that can surely be done in one or two visits, and don't call back about results when they say they will. I'd trust a damn rock over these people. Fortunately there are many choices in the area for eyecare. I'd suggest any of them over this. Goodbye Solinsky Eyecare, you are terrible.

I came in for an exam and didn't know they didn't have any up to date equipment like they do in Willimantic office. The office is extremely small, hard not to be very close to everyone. Dr Ellen Patton was very late seeing me and then had dirty hands when she came close to my face I could smell her hands but it was too late she was already doing my exam. I ended up with infection in my eye after, I was not happy. Also she wanted to argue with me instead of educate me and when I said I wanted a photo of my eyes she said they don't have that in the office. Because I didn't want to be dialated (who would when someone had dirty hands) She wouldn't spend anytime talking to me she just rushed me out of the room literally to go get glasses. I called office to speak to a manager and gave plenty of time for them to return my call but got nothing. I'm very disappointed in this office. The staff seemed afraid of the Dr and apologized for how she treated me after my visit. I felt bad for the staff who work here. I would not come to this office again. I wasted my one eye visit and didn't even get my issues addressed or resolved. I'm going somewhere else for the glasses.

I was first greeted by the friendly receptionist and had to complete some paperwork. I then visited with Ali, who took some preliminary eye scans and then Melody came into the exam room and made some additional checks. They were both very supportive and friendly. Lastly, I saw Dr. Wayne and she finished up my exam and told me everything was good. Thanks for all of your work. You make a great team.

From the person I spoke to on the phone asking about this office and my insurance coverage to the receptionist to the person who does the test to the doctor and to the person who sold me my glasses, this was a wonderful experience. Everyone was kind and gave me all the information I needed and made me feel as though they were glad I was there. The exam was the most thorough and helpful exam I have ever had.

Excellent visit Staff pleasant and accommodating. Doctor was wonderful. I felt completely at ease. He was very knowledgeable and informative. Answered all my questions. Did not rush me, took time and helped me with my decision for eye surgery. Would definitely recommend Dr. Orr.

This was my first experience with Solinsky Eyecare - I will definitely recommend to anyone! Upon entering the receptionist was very friendly and helpful ( this was refreshing to me, at other establishments it feels and if you are bothering them or wasting their time.) Then the Doctor comes to retrieve me for the appointment he was very personable , friendly and informative- which is a plus!! This was an Excellent Experience!!!
