I highly Recommend Central Eye Care of West Hartford, Connecticut for your next annual eye appointment.
Stephanie was very friendly and made scheduling and rescheduling, due to snow issues, very easy.
Dr Jennifer Raska welcomed me into her office and since this was my first appointment, made it a point to get to know me a bit before we started the exam. The equipment was up-to-date and she took the time to explain what she was doing before she did it.
There was a good selection of frames to choose from after my appointment.
Stephanie helped me try out different frames and offered her suggestions in a professional yet friendly way, which made me feel very comfortable.
Thank you for making my transition to a new doctor due to insurance issues, a breeze!

My experience at Central Eye Care in West Hartford started with Stephanie, who gave an amazing first impression. She was the first person I saw when I wanted the office and she was very knowledgeable, personable, and immediately made me feel comfortable -- especially since this was my first time there and I was dealing with an eye condition called keratoconus.
Dr. Jennifer Raska was beyond amazing. From her bedside manner to her level of expertise, she truly changed my life. She introduced me to a world I never thought I would see again. I was fitted for scleral lenses, and the transformation in my vision was life-changing.
Words can't fully describe the amount of happiness and gratitude I feel. Going from consistent daily struggles with my vision to now seeing 20/20 is one of the greatest blessings I've experienced in my life.
I would recommend Dr. Jennifer Raska 1000 times if I could. Stephanie and Dr. Raska make an incredible team that truly takes pride in caring for and serving their patients.

Dr. Raska suggested Ortho-K lenses for my 14 year old daughter on our first visit with her and spent a lot of time with us answering questions before we decided to go forward with them. My daughter began using them six months ago and it has been an incredible experience. Dr. Raska made several appointments with us to ensure the correct fit of the lenses and appropriate improvement to my daughter's vision, and with consistent wear at night, my daughter now has better than 20/20 vision without correction during the day. Additionally, Dr. Raska has shown every visit how much she cares about my daughter as her patient. All of my children and I are now patients of Dr. Raska, and I would highly recommend her to any family.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Raska at Central Eye Care. I've had trouble with my prescription for years -- nothing ever felt quite right, and I'd basically given up on finding someone who could figure it out. Dr. Raska changed that completely.
She took her time, asked all the right questions, and really paid attention to the little details that everyone else seemed to overlook. For the first time in forever, my prescription feels perfect and I can actually see comfortably throughout the day. It's such a relief.
On top of that, she's incredibly kind, patient, and easy to talk to. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and wants them to leave feeling taken care of. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish, and I left feeling grateful that I finally found someone who gets it.

The team at Central is second to none! I had an issue with my eyes and Dr Raska spent a long time trouble shooting it. In the end, she found the easiest path forward for me and helped me solve the problem with very little intervention. She went above and beyond. I bought glasses from them and they are perfect! I see so much better. I bought a pair of spare glasses from Warby Parker and the prescription is totally wrong. They helped me troubleshoot that as well. They went so far as to measure the prescription in them and to help me get the lenses replaced. Wow!! You get what you pay for. I will never cheap out again on glasses. Thank you to the team at Central!
