SIGHT: Melissa Lambright OD

My visit to "Sight" was highly disappointing and frustrating. I needed a simple contacts prescription update for my son, but what should have been a quick appointment dragged on for two hours. Despite the long wait, they couldn't provide the exam results immediately and asked me to return a week later. The staff's unprofessional behavior made things worse, repeatedly telling my son there was an issue with his eyes, which was distressing and unnecessary. Additionally, they fully charged my insurance despite not delivering the expected service. When I contacted them to dispute the charge, explaining that the visit's purpose wasn't fulfilled, they were unhelpful and maintained they had provided the service. They even continue attempting to bill an extra $10 and threaten to send this $10 to collection agency! Overall, "Sight" demonstrated poor efficiency, communication, and customer care. I strongly recommend avoiding this optometry practice.

You get what you pay for. Due to my prescription strength, my lenses and frames combined cost upwards of $900. This is probably not the norm for most people, but I opted for the latest and greatest technology to reduce the thickness of my lenses as much as possible. I purchased this set about 2.5 years ago and within the last 2 months my lenses were yellowing severely for an unknown reason. A couple months after my initial purchase I moved out of state, so I felt stuck since I couldn't visit the store in person. I called and Sight agreed to work with the lab on my behalf even though the lenses were out of warranty by a few months, and ended up replacing my lenses completely free of charge. They were very pleasant to deal with, and communicated well all along the way to keep me updated on when things would be ready. So yes, I paid a lot up front, but like I started with, you get what you pay for. I would recommend Sight because of this.

My entire family has been patients of Dr. Lambright since she opened SIGHT in 2006. Over these past several years we have experienced both excellent eye care and customer service consistently. Additionally, SIGHT is "the place to go" for fashionable eye wear...I love the new sunglasses I purchased recently! Lastly, my son is a Vision Therapy patient of Dr. Lambright's as well. He has a Visual Processing Disorder which causes him to easily loose focus at school, especially with reading. In only 4 months of treatment, he has improved focus, reads with more ease, and feels less frustrated when doing his schoolwork overall. The best part is how much the Vision Therapy has helped his self confidence which is priceless.

Dr. Lambright was very nice and listened to me. She is truly good at what she does as I had some unique vision requirements. My only complaint is that the front is a bit pushy in trying to get you to purchases lenses and frames from them.

This place is amazing. They have EXCELLENT service, and glasses. There was one women named Jessica Rivera. She was super Polite. If someone needs glasses, this should be my number one recommendation.

This place is a disappointment. The service is fine but expect to be nickeled and dimed. I came in for my annual routine then got charged me for a service I didn't want nor need. They charged and billed me for an issue I already am aware of. It was a routine exam not a diagnostic exam. Stop charging people for a service you did not provide. Never again,

Dr. Lambright is very nice and good at what she does. I've been seeing her for years now. Only complaints are parking, but then again anything in West Hartford Center will have parking issues.

The only thing they do well is asking for the money over and over again. They don't take any responsibility after the service. I talked to the billing department for several times and they said "this is your responsibility all the time!!"
