I wanted to come back in and edit my review while I still had the issues that I had Matty (I might be spelling her name wrong if I am, I apologize) has gone above and beyond. She is working with me to correct the issue. She is a great awesome employee and I really appreciate everything she's done for me. I am only changing it to four stars because I still had Issues that should not have happened. but Matty it's been wonderful working with me To correct the problems, she is the reason why I have changed my review. well, it is still gonna take another two weeks for my correct classes to come in. She did give me a Loaner pair of glasses as they were already in my prescriptions they were just incorrect So that I can see until mine come in. Thank you Matty, I really appreciate you. I came in on January 16 for an eye exam. I ordered two pairs of glasses. I was told that these glasses had magnetized sunglasses that attached to them. Two weeks later, I got a message saying my glasses were in. Two days later I get a call saying nope my glasses are messed up. They're not here something about. They put the prescription in the sunglasses and not the frames and didn't send any frames and that my frame and glasses were ordered incorrectly and it would be almost $300 more for me to get my glasses and take an additional two weeks. I paid the additional amount to get my glasses which when I ordered them I repeatedly asked is this correct ( total) and was told yes. Now I am Up to $1000 for two pair pairs of glasses And still no glasses I was notified that they came in. I went in to pick them up. They had the glasses and they had sunglasses but their clip on. They're not the magnetic that I was told. there's no way that I could safely get those clip on sunglasses onto my glasses while driving secondly that is not what I want. If I was told that that's what they were. There's no way I would've purchased them now I'm over a month and $1000 out and still no glasses they told me they would call me and it's Wednesday have heard nothing. I tried to call and can't reach through. I've left messages I've been going to my eye doctor for years. I don't think I will be going back. The individual who helped me with my glasses order was Austin.

I normally don't leave reviews but Danielle helped me out the other day and I would be absolutely remiss if I didn't give her the recognition she deserves! She is so amazing at what she does and helped me pick out glasses, giving me honest reviews about how they all looked on me and even picked out the ones for me that I ended up buying. She was extremely helpful with my elderly mother as well, and kept us laughing the entire time. i've worn glasses my entire life and never in my 32 years have I had so much fun at an eye exam. years of I get that girl a raise asap! I also would like to point out that ALL of the ladies at my eye doctor Dover were very helpful and pleasant all around. It's a great place to be at.

Danielle was amazing. My son didn't want transitioning glasses and showed us sunglasses with his prescription in them. He was over the moon with them. We appreciate your help greatly and making him stylish.

Was there for an eye exam. If I do have to go back I woll refuse to have LAURA CASTILLO as my doctor. Her bedside manner is none existent and I felt like I wasn't worth her time. The nurse that brought me back was very helpful and even told me ways to help reduce my migraines which the doctor didn't. And brought my glasses online do to their being way cheaper and even better quality.

Danielle at My Eye Dr on governors Ave, Dover, De was very upbeat, helpful and professional but most of all she made me feel good about my choice of frames. She wasnt aware that I was internally questioning my decision. I left pleased and content with my new glasses! Thank you, Danielle!

I had a fast and easy experience getting a new pair of glasses with Austin. He was able to give me details on the design I chose, as well as a great deal on my new pair. Austin was very polite and held great conversation during my experience. I would definitely recommend him to help you find the perfect pair for you!

Canceled the appointment becuase I "didn't confirm" but they never called me and sent an email the night before the appointment after hours, making it impossible to confirm. Then I drive all the way there and the appointment was canceled. They didn't even call to let me know they canceled it. This place is inefficient and incompetent. The Saturday hours aren't worth it. I'd rather take a day off work to go to the Forrest Dr location then waste my Saturday on this place.

So I've been going here for years but today I I get to my appointment after rearranging my schedule, taking off from work just for me to get there and they tell me we no longer accept your insurance and then sit there and lie to me and tell me they tried to call me yesterday being that I only had three missed calls and unless they are one of the one 800 numbers they didn't call mind you. This isn't the first time that they pulled that line saying that they called to reschedule my appointment or they have to cancel my appointment because insurance issues or something along those lines. What I don't understand is if you call why you never leave a message that's because you never did call in the first place and this is the fifth time that they did that so unless you calling to confirm your insurance, your appointment is still good to go or furthermore like your glasses is ready. Don't look for them to call you to confirm anything not that I can go back anymore anyway because they no longer accept my insurance, but I don't recommend them. It's just a hassle for someone who's working or have to rearrange their schedule to make sure that they make it to an appointment that they didn't make aware to you that they can't fulfill.
